First of all, my Blue Heeler absolutely LOVED this ball. Immediately went to town herding it around our large yard. 5 stars for that. Unfortunately, the first ball (set of two) popped literally the 2nd day, and was not at all over-inflated. If anything, I was surprised at how much give there was in the outer bag (which seemed sturdy) after fully inflating. My dog was able to pinch just enough material to carry it around a bit as well as roll it. I’m going to blow up the second one and see how long it lasts and will update if I have better luck as I don’t want to go through the hassle of a return if the second ball lasts longer. I was really excited about the item and it seemed sturdy, so maybe I got a dud. Or maybe my young heeler just has extra sharp teeth, idk. I got this on a Black Friday deal, so I’m definitely not willing to buy for full price if it will not last more than one day! Read more

My dog is not a working dog and has no idea how to herd but it's in his DNA to Chase and nip so I thought we would try them out with this ball. He absolutely loves it! It's about the same size as he is, and he loves chasing this around the yard. I've never been able to buy a ball that he didn't pop or a toy that he didn't destroy but so far he has not been able to pop this herding ball. It's been super durable and the outer cover is really good quality. I definitely recommend this as a great value for dog owners with dogs that have high pre-drives or love chasing balls.
