I have many laundry bags of this type and in different sizes that I use when washing items that I want to “contain” in my agitator washing machine. The bags keep the items in place but they still wash and rinse thoroughly and I don’t have to necessarily use the gentle/delicate cycle. These bags are by far the best I’ve ever bought. I purchased the XXL size to wash sweaters and larger items. They are perfect for that. The zipper closure is secure and a good quality. I’m so glad I came across these bags. These were bigger than I expected (they're HUGE!), but they should handle any and all of my gentle washables and enable me to toss them in the washer without stressing about it, so that's great. They seem super sturdy and protective. I haven't had them long enough to comment on their durability. One note to be aware of: the first time I used one, it floated through the entire wash and the contents hardly even got wet!! So, I learned to NOT put this on the top of the washer load! Put other clothes on top of it so that it does not float during the washing cycle. Or else, thoroughly wet it or submerge it before putting it in the washer. I think they will especially be great for washing our beach wear and swim suits when we go to the beach. And at home, they handle all sorts of delicates. These really are XX large! I like washing my knit or delicate items in mesh bags to prevent them from getting snagged. These bags are large enough for a dress or sweater or a couple of smaller items without them being crammed into the bag. The bag’s mesh fabric is soft but durable and the zipper is sturdy and secure. This size is the best size to get really. Don't bother with smaller ones. Fits one or two pair of sweatpants perfectly or one nice large-xxxl hoodie. Great for things that have drawstrings. Read more

These are amazing: 1. They don't unzip by themselves. 2. They have a little pocket for the zipper pull tab so you don't hear it clanging around in your washer or dryer. 3. They have a good mesh size to keep things safe but allow water to flow freely. 4. They are tough can be loaded pretty full and still work great. I use these to protect the drawstrings of clothes that have them (hoodies, shorts, etc.) from getting tangled up in my washer which tends to yank them out and damage the clothing.
