Have had cats all my life. But first time seeing this. It works great! If you you use pine pellets, the larger pieces will sit on top but still get caught in the little grid shape. They help maybe a little. That might be due to the litter I use being quite fine and light. They might work better with a heavier litter. I bought the double pack of 24" x 18". They're flimsier than I imagined. They come folded and you're supposed to put a heavy object on them for 24 hours...I did that for 3 days. They are not flat. They are still buckled on top. I will continue to use them because of the amount of track-out my two cats cause. I think they are trying to jump over or at least run over the mats. They are lined up lengthwise in a narrow path next to a water heater. Hopefully they will get used to them and slow down.
