Strong performance, good battery life, and easy handling. This trimmer has been a solid purchase. It has more power than I expected for a cordless unit and cuts cleanly through thicker branches without struggling. It handles typical hedge work easily and doesn’t feel underpowered. Battery life has been very good. Having two batteries included makes a real difference. I can get through a full round of trimming without worrying about running out, and the swap is quick if needed. It’s lightweight and well-balanced, which matters more than you think once you’re using it for 20–30 minutes. The grip is comfortable and it’s easy to control, even when reaching or working around tighter spots. Build quality feels solid overall. Nothing feels cheap or loose, and it starts right up every time. For the price, it delivers more than expected. Overall, it’s reliable, easy to use, and gets the job done without hassle. Would definitely buy again! Read more
The media could not be loaded. This 20" cordless hedge trimmer is a very practical tool for regular yard and garden maintenance. It’s lightweight and well balanced, which makes it comfortable to use for longer trimming sessions without causing too much arm fatigue. The 180° rotatable head is a really useful feature, allowing you to easily adjust the angle for trimming the tops and sides of hedges without awkward positioning. The 3000 RPM motor provides plenty of cutting power for most common hedges and shrubs, and the 2/3" blade gap handles medium-sized branches without any problem. It cuts cleanly and efficiently, helping keep bushes looking neat and well shaped. The included two 2.0Ah batteries are also a big advantage—when one runs low, you can quickly swap to the second battery and keep working. Overall, this hedge trimmer is easy to use, convenient, and powerful enough for typical home gardening tasks. It’s a great choice for homeowners who want a cordless, reliable tool to keep their yard looking tidy. Read more

Received on time. charged battery was included. Ran for about .5 hour cutting Jojoba bushes, did a great job, didn't seem to bog down. Includes everything you need, even an extra screw (I'm sure I didn't forget something) So 6 screws and you're read to cut. Not good for one handed operation, but that's a good thing. I liked that it included the 2 batteries and charger. small gloves were also included and safety glasses, no ear protection Read more
This is a great trimmer for my purposes. I have a hedge that has grown too tall, and I needed trimmers light enough for me to reach to keep it neat. These are sharp, strong and very light, with a great rechargable battery. You will need to keep the extra battery charged, and change it out occasionally, but they definitely do the job. I would buy them again, and am very happy with the quality. Read more
My experience with the DocSmart cordless hedge trimmer is that the durability and performance is just as good as the hedge trimmers you can find at the hardware store for 3 or 4 times the price. Keep in mind that a hedge trimmer is a bush or small branch trimmer, not a limb trimmer. Each 2000mAh LI-ion battery has a 2 hour working time and 2 hour charging time which is acceptable and common for many cordless hedge trimmers. With two fully charged batteries, that is about 4 hours trimming time and about the time to take break. I used this hedge trimmer to trim my forsythia bush hedges and weeping willow branches without any issues and this trimmer performed as I expected or hoped it would. Therefore, I would say this cordless hedge trimmer is a good value for the price. This trimmer offers several nice features such as a dual safety lock when changing batteries or not in use, rotating and locking left, horizontal, and right handle to trim at any angle, and only weighs about 4 1/2 pounds compared to most other trimmers. This trimmer is lightweight and appears to be very durable and can take a lot of abuse. Cordless trimming main advantage is no dragging a cord around and reaches far beyond any cord can reach. The gas trimmers are much heavier, louder, and require gas. So, the cordless trimmer does have advantages over gas and corded trimmers. My experience is that no one tool or equipment serves every purpose, different tools, different purposes and advantages. Due to the price, performance, and durability of this cordless hedge trimmer, I would recommend buying this trimmer to anyone who prefers a lighter trimmer or has bushes or small branches to trim with cord reaching, dragging, or tangling issues. A little low on horsepower and the blades are dull, but it's not bad for the price. It worked just fine on my lantanas and bouganvillias. It mangled the shoots on my olive tree, but to be fair, this isn't the right tool for that job. It is very light and easy to handle. Read more
