I purchased this item five months ago – a 12 LED light unit. Originally, some of the LEDs stopped working. As of now, 3 out of the 12 LEDs are no longer functioning. More concerning, four days ago, one of the lights caught fire due to overheating, which poses a major safety risk. We contacted Customer support and were given the phone number and email for the manufacturer. However, the phone number is based in another country, and we haven’t been able to get through. We also emailed the manufacturer four days ago, but have not received any response – despite this being a safety hazard. When we followed up with Amazon again, we were told that the only option is to contact the manufacturer, and if they do not respond, there’s nothing else that can be done. This is extremely disappointing and concerning, especially given the fire risk involved. We are asking Amazon to please step in and help resolve this issue, as the product poses a potential danger to users. Read more

They’ve been performing well, but I’m facing some challenges with them. I purchased them in November and installed them about three weeks ago. Now, unfortunately, six out of the 24 lights are no longer functioning. They tend to overheat frequently, I don’t know if that’s one of the reasons its not working anymore and I haven’t checked if they have any kind of warranty or something but I will keep u updated Update: One week after the first review The seller responded quickly, confirmed that the lights have warranty, and sent me replacements for all 6 that were defective. I received the new lights the very next day. I really appreciate how fast and helpful their customer service was in solving the issue. This lamp is very bright, but it also generates a lot of heat. No wonder the manufacturer recommends installing it 25 to 29 feet high. Unfortunately, my garage's ceiling height is nowhere near 25 feet, so I need to install this lamp where it is the least likely anyone would be directly underneath the lamp for an extended period of time. Just a thought, the heat may make the lamp more pleasant to use in the winter. The lamp's casing is made of plastic, albeit the kind that seems able to tolerate and won't get deformed from the high heat. A hook that can be screwed into the lamp is provided, so you can hang the lamp anywhere you want, plug the power cord into an outlet, and let there be light! However, the cord is only 5 ft long, so you will likely need an extension cord. Moreover, there is no on/off switch, so you have to unplug the cord from the outlet to turn the lamp off. The user's guide does say that you can cut the plug on the cord and connect the lamp to an electrical wiring directly, so if you need an installation project, you can have options like using a wall switch, etc. Given that it shines so brightly and heats so intensely, I do wonder how long this lamp will last. I have bought 500w lights before and have them side by side with the 18 I just bought. These are not 500w maybe 300-400 at max. Not as bright as my last batch from different vendor. Quality is good functionally is easy to assemble and hang. Value for money I would buy a 300w before spending money for a 500w that is not producing as a 500w. Read more

Happy with the lights but wanted to mention the recommended mounting height. Lowest recommended height was 13 ft. I could only get 10 ft therefore I did not get the coverage I needed. Will have to use strip lighting along the edges to get the coverage I neede. Read more
