I don't know what "newppon glide' is but it is way strong that the normal sting floss. The closest thing I can think of is that it is almost like fishing line. Very thin, very strong. I have used many floss sticks before and they always seem to break before I do my entire mouth requiring I use another one. I made it through with no problems and I can probably go a second round but I do throw them away after a single use. There is a huge value in the 800 pack and it will take me some time to get through all of these. I also like they are in packs of 50s so that I can keep a set at work when I need that extra bit of cleaning. These are a lot, and come in a nice heavy shipping box. They are prepackaged in much smaller boxes. The quality of these are comparable to any white label dental floss picks from a big box store. I am a huge fan of buying necessities in bulk--especially when the value is amazing. Here, I got 16 individually packaged boxes that each have 50 floss picks inside. This is around a dollar per box that allows you to put them everywhere you need. I gave boxes to my adult sons, put them in every bathroom, my car and my bag so I am never without a pick when I need one at home or out and about. I generally use the little tree flossers and recently found from my hygienist that the spaces between the teeth really need to the attention of straight floss string to get rid of trapped debris where the teeth align and the trees cannot access. However, I hate using traditional floss because it is so messy and picks I have used in the past would often break. I decided to try these because they are a very cost effective solution and discovered that they are very high quality and the containers are sturdy. Solid and sturdy bulk packets of floss picks. They come in packets of 50 in a convenient case for travel. I actually use these to floss my dogs teeth which I didn’t think was possible to do and the floss does not break. I can usually use one on all of my teeth before the floss breaks.
