Excellent product! Why spend 4x as much for a Milwaukee top out.....all made in China anyway. I have three of these, been using them almost daily for over a year. No complaints at all!! Very good product! Read more

I almost returned this product because it would not power on connected to my 4amp battery, however, I gave it one last attempt on a 2amp battery, and it worked. It also clicked in more solidly that time (I had noted that I could push the inverter off the battery without depressing the lock buttons with the 4amp), so I went back to the 4amp, and by being sure to more firmly push the inverter into place, I was able to achieve a successful connection. Subsequent attempts have been successful, and I have not experienced this with any other tool in my set, so I think it is likely my numerous attempts knocked a piece of malformed plastic, or the like, out of the way, allowing the tool to work correctly. Once it works, it's pretty darned cool.. I already have my full 7 battery milwaukee setup, and a 200W inverter is sufficient for most light-weight use.. in my case, powering my new cat urine detecting blacklight which operates at 100W. I threw the inverter with battery in a tool belt, plugged in my blacklight, and was able to thoroughly explore my house in search of cat messes, knowing that if my battery ran low, I had any number of replacements standing by to solve the job. When I finished, I tossed this into my M18 tool box, and now I have a really tiny inverter handy whenever I bring my power tools, and I'll always know where to find it, whereas I never quite figured out a long term home for my other inverters, save tucked under the seat of my car or truck usually. At $36, this in not an inexpensive inverter, but it does add a decent value to your existing battery bank, so I think it's worthwhile for most people invested in to the Milwaukee M18 or M18 fuel power tools.
