I appreciate all these reviews because it added to my final decision to buy this one among many others. I mostly liked the design for plug in to a single cigarette lighter in the car's console and then a long enough wire to set the unit on the floor. It even comes with a Velcro pad to attach it to the side floor of the console on the passenger side. Others just plugged into the center console, which would be really too bulky there. I have only done a preliminary test of plugging the new unit into my console cigarette lighter and then plugging my power inverter into one of the ports. All the lights came on. The new unit and my power inverter. I still haven't done the engineering for how to connect other units to this device and to control the power output. I need more cigarette plugins that can handle USB C for my iPhone along with my wife's iPhone. My inverter has been powering all of this so far. I have a Y connector that plugs my iPhone into the USB C charger and also plugs into the audio auxiliary plug to my car's speakers. I can watch or listen to YouTube music and videos while driving and charging my iPhone at the same time. Without this hookup, my iPhone runs out of battery real fast, like in an hour or so. This device actually powers my iPhone faster than it drains the power. I recently bought a new device, a digital speedometer and compass. This purchase was the reason for me buying this new extender (whatever you call it; it extends the number of cigarette lighter adapters that you can plug into; kind of like extending your wall electric plug from 2 to 6.) I will be buying more cigarette lighter plugins as I go from here. And I will have to figure out how to operate this thing, like only using one at a time to conserve power, or whatever. It comes with extra fuses, which seems pretty cool. If I screw up and use more power than I should, it will just blow a fuse, which is easily fixable. Even after blowing 5 fuses, the price is less than $10, much better than losing an investment in a $35 unit. Excellent product. I would buy it again. This tells you the voltage of your car battery on the Cig Plug. You have usb ports on the cig plug and on the fused switch box for the cigarette plug style power point. the switches work and are lighted and the main unit comes with sticky tape if you want to place it somewhere on/under the dash. The main unit comes with usb power points for charging your phones/devces or to power your devices for music or audio books. I have had several now for a couple years I will say that they work well. build quality is good, considering the switches feel cheap but have never failed. The unit has a fuse in the main unit, not the Cigarette plug, keep that in mind because you can blow the fuse, and the fuse is NOT obvious, it is easy to forget it has a fuse. The Cigarette plug has usb plugs and a voltage meter that monitors the car voltage, a nice option. If your car/truck/van has a cigarette power point THAT DOES NOT TURN OFF when the car is not running, you want to pull the Cigarette plug out of the dash. The reason for this is those nice usb power points will drain the car battery over long term because they have a constant drain on the battery. NOt a big drain, y ou can leave it plugged in when you go shopping or to eat but if you come home and go in the house, best to pull that plug from the socket unless your car has a solar charger to keep the battery up. I drive a 2010 Nissan Frontier pickup and have multiple devices that compete for power access through the single 12V cigarette lighter port that's on the dash. This splitter is a game changer because of the three-port arrangement, it allows me to use things that have wider profile plugs without having to plug/unplug to do it. I like that the three ports have independent switches that are click on/off as my truck treats the 12V connection as an 'always on' power source, even when the key isn't in the ignition, and those switches help ensure I don't drain the battery. I love that ad perfect-sized Velcro pad is included. I was able to mount mine under the swivel-door in my 2013 Toyota Camry perfectly. If I unplug my dash cam I can still close the door. Nice. Read more

The media could not be loaded. Simple power splitter with on/off switches. Digital display showing power draw is a nice feature.
