Size 6.5 black review. Boots are very comfortable and stylish. The bottoms are made out of hard plastic or similar material so they click on the ground. It is not uncomfortable, but it is very loud so if you do not like that, I would not recommend these. Note material is still grippy enough that they aren't slippery on smooth surfaces (hard plastic or rubber so it still has some grip). These are super comfortable. I have to tell you that boots with round toes are way better than pointy toes. Why do companies even make pointy toed boots or shoes? I am so glad these aren't. I have neuropathy on my feet and it is mostly in my toes and balls of my feet, both feet. It's awful because I cannot handle anything pressing tightly on that area. So that's why I am really happy about these boots, because they have enough room in the toe area. And I have small, thin feet (they aren't small in terms of size, but they are long and skinny.) I got a size 9.5, even though I am normally a size 9. The size chart says the difference is 0.2 inches, and so that's less than a quarter inch, I thought that would be perfect, and it was. The length of these boots goes up to my calves. Not quite to my knees, so they aren't what I would consider knee high. They are calf high :) And they don't have a super high heel, which also is helpful for those who have feet issues. It is important to be as stable as possible on your feet so as to not trip or fall. That's just the facts of life for folks who are dealing with the same issues I have. But the good thing is with these boots, I can wear stylish footwear and the black goes with practically everything. I can wear these to church with my dresses, I can wear them with jeans. Read more

Although. advertised as wide calf w zipping them up re requires a bit of 'finesse' during the final inches on my 18.5" calves. Once zipped, they fit well and are comfortable to wear with trouser socks. Sizing seems accurate; I ordered my usual size 9, and they ft perfectly, albeit with limited room for thicker socks. Nice very classy looking boots. The zipper slides easily and feels like a better quality than some other brands. I wear a size 9 and they fit like gloves. The circumference at top of boot hugs my legs. They do not feel real "wide" to me. I have other boots that fit the same way and do not have a "wide" designation. Although the stretchability at the top lends itself to a wider calf. In my photos I am wearing pants with them. I have not tried them with a skirt yet but I do not think it will make a huge difference in the fit. As a senior I love boots with rounded toes. My toes do not enjoy squishing anymore. High heels are out due to 2 fractures of my foot & a neuroma in one. I can easily fit an orthopedic insert too. They have some tread to counteract slipping. Very nicely made and I can foresee them lasting for a long time. I have a full length leather coat and gloves that will go beautifully. I would highly recommend these boots. These fit super well and run close to knee but more like mid calf. They feel soft and the zipper slides easily. These are going to look amazing over some leggings with a sweater as the weather gets colder. The quality seems decent and they are quite warm, my first experience with this kind of boot!
