These boots are amazing !!! I’m really so in love with these boots they look great and are incredibly comfortable. So why did I give them 4 stars and not 5? Honestly it’s because there are a couple of things that you should keep in mind when buying these boots. First off they do run big I’d say about a half size big. It’s not too bad as you can wear socks comfortably even thicker ones. If you wear tights or you wear thin socks you may want to size a half size down. There is about an inch worth of space from the tip of the toe on the boot to where the tip of my toes are. I put on thick socks it wasn’t as bad. Also know that these are not narrow boots they are a bit wide so they don’t feel tight like your foot is being hugged when you wear socks. They are a high boot but hit a couple inches below the knee. They have a slouchy effect along the shaft is different than other slushy boots I’ve had in the past. This slouch is not set in place which means you can move. I know that sounds kind of weird, but basically there is the lining of the boot and the top layer of the boot, which is what we see on the outside. The slide effect is attained by having there be more material on the outer layer than the inner layer so more fabric you got a slouch. But because it’s not connected to the inner layer, you can adjust the slouch a little bit if you want it to be more in the middle or higher, but it’s going to still fall when you start walking, and that slouching is going to be more at around the ankle lower area so that’s just something to keep in mind. It is not gonna be slouchy throughout the shaft of the boot it’s going to be more at the bottom. I think if they had attached the inner lining to the outer lining and folded the slouch area so that where it is slouch inward would be connected to the inside lining. It would’ve been better because then you could have that slouchy effect throughout the entire shaft. That’s the reason why I took one star off. I do still love these boots though. They would look amazing with a cute boho dress or skirt. I don’t feel these are the type of boots you’d want to wear with jeans because the shaft is wider at the top and so it’s going to be kind of open and have additional space and I just don’t think it looks very good that way. But as I said this could look really cute with a little Boho dress or little skirt and cute top, but I think it would definitely look best if your leg is exposed above the shaft instead of having it covered with a pair of jeans, that will just make it look kind of bulky. That being said if you’re looking for a pair of comfortable slouchy boots that are reasonably priced and that are actually soft on the outside and don’t feel stiff, I’d recommend these. If you want a real cowboy boot, this is not the boot for you. While it does say cowboy boot in the name the only thing cowboy boot esque about these boots is the heel and toe styling. The shaft being slouchy makes these more of an urban cowboy, citfied fashionable boot, but not a real cowboy boot. Real cowboy boots have a straight shaft and are tighter fitting and can take a beating and still look good. So if you’re looking for a cute tall fashionable boot these are great. Read more

I ordered these a half size bigger than I normally wear as narrow boots tend to squish my boarder line wide feet. They also don’t normally allow for sock room. Not not that but cowboy boots in particular normally have to be broken in before they’re comfortable to wear. These boots, however, are extremely comfortable straight out of the box! I was shocked! I’m happy I went up a half size because now I have plenty of room for a thicker sock although I probably could have gotten away with my normal size. They come with little pads so that if there’s too much room in the toes, you can use the pads to make them fit better. They fit my calves perfectly and I could easily wear them over a pair of skinny or straight legged jeans. As you can see from the photo, they look fabulous over a pair of leggings and I can’t wait to try them with a long skirt. They are extremely well made and with a quality vegan leather material. They actually look like a high quality, super soft, genuine leather. I’m not sure what the soles are made from but they’re solid and sewn onto the boot very well. I haven’t tested them in the rain yet but as well as they’re made, I’m guessing they might actually be waterproof. And when I say waterproof, I mean waterproof and not water resistant. You definitely won’t be disappointed in buying these if you have a normal to semi wide foot and meaty calves. I love these boots! They are super comfortable and look great on me (height 5’0”). I normally wear size US 5.5-6 and have wide feet. However, I wanted to double up on the socks so got size 6.5. It worked out as I hoped. One pair of socks was a little loose but two pairs was perfect. I did do a comfort test run with a trip to Costco the day before Thanksgiving and it passed. I love these boots! They arrived just as pictured. The material is nicer than most fake leather boots and the stlye is perfect for a country concer or any outfit that needs cowboy boots! They run true to size. I ordered the 8.5 and that is what I normall wear in boots. I have bigger calves and these fit just fine and the lower heel makes them very comfortable to wear. Read more
