I'm pleased with this purchase. It's high quality and burns well. I bought this for RV'ing because some campgrounds don't allow wood fires and I don't like smelling like smoke. There was minor assembly required, and I was shocked by how much heat it puts out, although i just wanted it for the aesthetic. I haven't taken it out yet, but did set it up on my patio to try it out. Also, I either underestimated how full my propane take was (possible) or this really sucks down the gas. I'll know once I take it on a trip. Visually, it's the best of the ones I looked at. Read more
Nice fire pit. Works real good and has a locking lid. It needs more lava rocks though. There's barely enough to cover the bottom leaving the burner fully exposed ruining the look. Read more

The fire pit would have been fine, except that I had to buy more lava rocks, but it was defective. The holes in the pit weren’t in the correct place, and the lid couldn’t fit or clamp. Unfortunately, our landscaping project took longer than I expected and I was past the 30 day window to return or replace. Also, be aware that there is no way to contact the manufacturer or product support for this. It’s a nice product , really has a nice high flame. Just check it well as soon as it arrives. It’s probably a fluke. Read more

The 22'' Propane Fire Pit by Verdeluxe, is a wonderful fire pit that has been great to have on my deck for evening chats. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying. I. Quality – The overall quality is surprisingly nice for this level of cost providing a great value. Its sturdy and strong with a thinner metal construction making it fairly light to move around. II. Assemble – It took longer than expected, but not too bad. The assemble is straightforward and easy to figure out. III. Performance – It works great, providing better heat and flame abilities then I expected. The flame is started by a sparker, which is nice to have and easily controllable. The standard BBQ propane tank fits nicely underneath and all the connections are included. It’s a great size for smaller groups and is even portable to bring in my RV for trips. It's fairly easy to clean the outside. Overall, this has been a wonderful addition to the patio and RV trips with great performance, looks, versatility and size to be a huge hit all year long. I’ll be sure to update this review, if I ever start to have problems with it. You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision. Read more
I chose the Verdeluxe 22-Inch Portable Propane Fire Pit because I live in San Francisco. The ordinances for outdoor fire pits focus on the strict amount of pollutants we can put into the air, as well as strict safety precautions. This fire pit adheres to both strict ordinances. The best aspect of this fire pit is that it provides warmth with a nice big fire, without smoke, ash, or the smell of a traditional fire burning wood. Its portable design with a sturdy lid and built-in handle makes it easy to carry out to the front, where we have a block party every Friday night. The set-up is so quick. I simply hook up my 5-gallon propane tank and it is ready for our Friday night gathering in the front street. I will be using it in my backyard as well, or if I plan on a camping trip. Setup is quick—just hook up a 5 gallon propane tank and you’re ready to enjoy a smokeless flame. The flame that this fire pit produces is perfect for groups, and the included lava rocks add a nice touch by enhancing the look while also helping to distribute heat more evenly. This fire pit uses propane, and the flame is adjustable to suit your needs accordingly, and to adjust for safety concerns. This fire pit feels solid, and it seems extremely durable. It is made of steel and it is powder-coated, so it should hold up well. I don’t need to store this fire pit since it will be used weekly. Still, it is small enough to store easily. I cannot find any faults whatsoever with this propane fire pit. It’s design produces no smoke at all. The safety precautions are the precautions taken with a modern BBQ, and the flame can only go a certain height. This is a great alternative to the fire pits of yester-year, that could burn out of control, creating safety hazards as well as producing toxic smoke for the atmosphere. Read more
Now that it's finally getting a little cooler outside, we can actually start using this fire pit in the yard. The propane tank we used was from the BBQ grill and it worked fine. The firepit gave off a nice fire and good heat up close. There was no smoke and no odd smells either, just a clean burn that looked great with all the lava rocks in it. The firepit itself is nice looking and has a great solid lid to keep it out of the weather for the most part. All in all, a great little pit - 4 stars from me! Read more
