If you are not familiar with Amazon Vine, it is basically Amazon trading free* products for honest reviews. You see a lot of Vine reviews that are cookie cutter and based on templates. I aim to make my reviews honest and non-cookie cutter (other than this intro and disclaimer). * These items are not actually free as Vine members pay income tax on the items they receive. Therefore, I will never order something from Vine unless I actually intend to use it. I think this is important for readers to understand because it means I will never order an item just to provide a fake five star review to a company. If I review something as good, it means I actually enjoyed using it or it fills its intended purpose correctly. Items that don't meet my expectations will be reviewed accordingly. Why I ordered this item: I have a pretty large workshop space and the lighting situation in there was dim. I wanted something that could illuminate the whole area without having to install a bunch of fixtures. Likes: * The brightness is legitimately impressive. At full power these put out enough light that I don't need any other fixtures in the space. I can see what I'm doing when I'm working on projects. * The adjustable angles are useful. I have these mounted in the center of the space but tilted them at 45 degrees to direct light toward my workbench area where I need it most. * The flexibility with installation is a big deal. I went with the plug-in option since running new hardwired circuits would have been a pain. Plugged them in and was done in about five minutes and I used a 110V toggle on/off switch I mounted on my workbench. * The power level options give you some control over energy usage. * Build quality is solid. These feel substantial and well-made, not cheap or flimsy. No likes: * The price is high compared to standard shop lights you'd find at a big box store. You're paying for industrial-grade equipment here, so it stings a bit at checkout. Buy once, cry once! * Two of these is overkill for most garage or workshop setups. If you have a smaller space one would probably be enough. Would I pay full price for this product: Yes Final thoughts: These are professional-grade fixtures that work as advertised. If you have a larger workshop or need serious illumination, the investment makes sense. Read more

The lighting I have where this is meant to replace are just the old style florescent with ballasts. I had debated whether updating ballasts to allow LED bulbs was my best bet or if getting a whole new setup might be better. After receiving this for review, I've definitely decided upgrading the whole setup is the way to go. You can select the wattage (200, 250, 300) and the color both. Then on top of that if you have the right electrical lines run the unit is dimmable. My current setup is just electric plug based, so going the plug direction is easy enough - and this unit allows for that. All the components are included that you need to do it. However, after some experience with it, I'm now contemplating fishing the extra wires to my switch that would allow me to incorporate the dimming functionality. I'm also considering replacing 2 existing shop lights with just one of this model. That's how much of a difference in brightness and capabilities I'm seeing. The light arms can be independently adjusted and locked into place to shine light at various areas. So, I'm capable of pointing light toward the wall from the center or down at the wall where the tools are and then across to the center of the shop instead. Since I'm no longer limited to just brighter lights pointing down, it's causing me to re-think my lighting strategy. Read more

This pair of 3' 300wt linear high bay fixtures is much better quality than expected. They are well protected for shipping and arrived in perfect condition. The fixtures themselves are solidy built with all metal frames and diffusers that produce incredibly even light. 54" long 120V 3 wire cords are provided for power input. 0-10V dimming leads are available in the fixture, and you can select from (3) color temp settings and (3) total output wattage settings via hard switches. Jack chain and carabiners are provided to hang these fixtures. I have a workshop with round style LED lights that I've never been happy with. The shadows across my 20x40' floor from so many fixtures were irritating at the least. These fixtures blow the round style fixtures away. Not only are these 2 Comiled fixtures brighter than 5 high output round style, the light quality is much, much better. Shadows are reduced and the light is cast evenly across the entire floor. Each fixture has 2 LED panels which can be angled to get them adjusted to your liking. I found leaving them flat worked best for me with my 13' mounting height. If you're undecided about what kind of fixtures for your workshop/ barn/garage/warehouse, these are without a doubt the superior option. You get much better quality light with fewer fixtures to install. 5 stars for light output, ease of installation, and value. Excellent product! Read more

These are about the most versatile and efficient high-bay shop lights I have seen. The versatility is the result of several features: - Input voltage ranges from 120 to 277VAC - Power selection of 100W, 150W & 200W - Color choice of 4000/5000/6000 degrees-K - 0V to 10V dimmable - Ability to adjust the angle of the two sides from 0 to 90 degrees to accommodate any possible lighting needs (a rare feature among high bay lights) As for efficiency, 150lm/W is about as good as it gets and up to 30,000lm. The linear shape is 2 feet which is around twice that of most UFO-style high bay lights which lack the positional versatility these provide. They are not cheap, $98.50 each, but are built to last a long time and are very strong and resilient. There is also a 300W max version as well, but for most situations these 200W max lamps are more than enough. Installation is straightforward and pretty simple. I do not own a factory or warehouse but using these on a rural property for garage/shop lights. I am using the plug cords for added versatility by being about to easily move and re-purpose them.
