I picked up this nail art set to try doing my own designs at home, and overall I'm pretty happy with it. The variety of brushes is impressive - you really do get different sizes and types for various techniques. The dotting tools work well for creating patterns and the double-ended brushes are convenient. The palette is actually quite nice looking with that agate design, and it's sturdy enough that I can see it lasting a while. The acrylic stand is a thoughtful addition that keeps everything organized on my vanity. The brushes themselves hold their shape reasonably well and pick up polish nicely. I've used them for both regular nail polish and some basic acrylic work without issues. My only minor complaints are that a couple of the finer brushes shed a hair or two initially, and the tips on some could be a bit more precise. But for the price point, it's really hard to complain. This set has everything a beginner needs to start experimenting with nail art, and even includes some tools I didn't know I'd find useful. I think this set of nail tools from Chemailon is a very nice set for beginners, especially ones on a budget. It consists of 14 pink brushes, 3 black double sided brushes with thicker and thinner ends, 1 pink dotting tool and 5 multicolored dotting tools of varying sizes, a brush holder to keep the brush ends off the table surface, and a resin polish palette for mixing gels and powders. While the pink brushes aren't the greatest quality, they get the job done and are good to train new skills on. It also doesn't matter as much if someone accidentally messes them up. The black double-sided brushes are a nicer quality and have a place for better grip at the center. All the brushes are comfortable for me to hold and use, and so far they have cleaned up nicely with some rubbing alcohol. There are a large variety of brushes in this kit to use and experiment with. Brushes for cleaning up polish around the nails, very thin brushes for making thin lines and finely detailed designs, fan brushes for streaked looks, rounded brushes that can help paint things like flower peddles, flat brushes for more square designs, and angled brushes for easier diagonal looks. None of my brushes seem to lose a bunch of brush hairs in the polish, which can be an issue with cheaper brushes. The dotting tools are a good quality, easy to use, and they perform well at making different sized dot designs on my nails. The brush holder works very well and can hold up to 5 brushes at one time. It fits both the black and pink brushes without any issues and is helping to keep my work space cleaner. The resin polish palette is working well for me so far. It cleans up easily with rubbing alcohol and the pigments don't seem to stain the palette or stick around on it after clean-up. It makes mixing colors much easier than on my old plastic palette, which had gotten stained, and that made it hard to know if I had mixed the shade I needed or not.
