I primarily ordered this set so I could get the nail rests as Ive just gotten deep into designing my own press-on nails. The bonus is that it comes with so many additional tools and nail brushes but for about the same price as just the nail rests/holders. I do use a little dot of wax to hold the nail on the rest. Although I'm not sure what other nail artists actually use. This kit doesn't come with that sticky wax, I just used dental wax for convenience. Read more

Literally such an amazing value! I've seen sets of just brushes or just the nail stands and tape for this price, so it's great that you get so many items altogether instead of having to buy them separately. The brushes are probably the most standard item. I usually like brushes that have caps instead of the plastic nibs because they fall off and get lost so easily, but not a super huge deal and I appreciate the variety of lengths and brush heads. This is a fantastic basics set that includes pretty much everything you need to get started with nail art and doing your own nails at home. The silicone brushes, nail art stands, and the foil tape are the reasons I got this set. The silicone head brushes are essential for working with 3d nail art gel, because they allow you to roll out hard gel into little balls or logs to then lay over your nails in different designs and sculpt and press it into shapes on your nails. The foil tape is fantastic for doing simple chrome designs easily without worrying about having to paint super straight lines yourself. The nail art stands are a lifesaver for making my own press-ons on the days when I don't want to commit to doing a full gel-x set. The only downside for me is that my pinky nail is quite small, so the pinky-sized tip doesn’t sit flush against the curved top the way the others do. All of the other nail tips fit nicely and wrap over the rounded edge, but the pinky one just rests on top of the putty instead. That becomes a little inconvenient when painting because the polish ends up running over the sides and curing there, which leaves a bit of excess polish hanging off once I remove it from the putty. It’s easy enough to trim and file smooth afterward, but I still wish there were a slightly smaller piece designed specifically for pinky nail tips. This kit came exactly as pictured and described. It comes with everything that you see in the listing photo. This is a really nice set for anyone who does their own nails or who is getting into making thier own press on nails etc. Even as just a gift to get someone started on the hobby, I would still say this is a nice little set for that. The included glue tape is nice and of decent quality like the rest of the items included as well. I have been able to place my fake nails on the stands with the glue tape and experiment with designs and gel decor with this set and it has been a nice learning experience. This nail art brush set comes with so many options to design nails. I think my favorite part was the nail holders. I could set the nail tips on this holder and design the nails from all angles. I could let them dry on there and move on to the next nail. There is so many variants of the nail brushes. You can really get a lot of details on the nail with these brushes. The dotting tools also allow you to control what size dots you want to add to the nails. They definitely hold the polish well. The engraving pens are great to control lines and designs. The tools are an appropriate size and weight. Very comfortable to use and work with. Read more
