Good for Chew Toys & Fetch Toys, Maybe Good for "Slow Feeding Enrichment" Toys

ShipMateβ€”August 22, 2025

I received the "Two Pack" of toys shown in the image of this Amazon listing. I like the toys OK ... but not for "slow feeding" treat dispensing toys, as is touted. At least for me, and the size of the kibble that my 5 month old black lab puppy eats, both of these toys are the wrong size. The red toy will properly fit her kibble into the slots, but ... sheesh, that takes a long time to put each piece of kibble into the slots. However, it may be worth it for you. It will keep both you and your dog busy for a while! I also tried adding kibble to the inside of both of the toys. For me, the holes in both of these toys are too large ... and dispense the kibble too quickly. There is no way to adjust the size of the holes in these toys. So, for "slow feeding" toys, at least for me, I don't find these toys particularly suitable. However, for chew toys and fetch toys, these toys are quite good. My puppy sometimes simply chews on the red toy, and it withstands her new big teeth. She's not totally a "power chewer," but she IS an accomplished chewer, and the red toy has withstood her teeth just fine. She seems to prefer batting the blue toy around the room, and chasing and jumping on it. It's not as "heavy duty" as the red toy, but, at least with my puppy, she hasn't chewed it up, yet. Read more

My dog loves the blue ball.

samiamβ€”August 12, 2025

The blue one works great. Not sure about the red one. The treats just kind of sit on the side of the ball. Read more

Not quite as easy as a KONG, but they hold the food / treats in better.

Steve Bβ€”July 21, 2025

These are a little tougher to load than the traditional KONG style (which are super easy to load), but they also hold the treats in a bit better once loaded so the dog needs to work harder. I find a mix of peanut butter and kibble works well, by mixing it in a bowl, then spooning it into the ball. If you have some advance notice, you can freeze these to make the dogs work even harder / make the treat last even longer. I have found my dogs like to chew on these balls even when not loaded with treats, as they seem to like the knurled texture. They're a bit tough to clean (if you're into that), but I find that a soak in hot water will release most anything the dogs don't get out... and my dogs don't care if they're dirty. So far, the dogs haven't ruined them or broken off any parts of the ball. My lab is a pretty solid chewer, and my dutch shepherd puts him to shame, so these seem to be pretty durable so far. In a pinch, these just work well as a fetch toy when not loaded. Read more

Seem indestructable to my miniature dachshund, so they're pretty darn tough!

Jennifer Shackelfordβ€”May 6, 2025

The interactive dog balls are a hard rubber type material that have withstood my dachshund's fierce attempts at destroying them! That by itself it a 5 star rating. She is a master at chewing everything and these balls have not given up the fight yet. The blue ball has a hole where you can place treats in it and they can trickle out as the ball is rolled. My pup likes this very much especially if you constantly throw or roll the ball for her to catch. The red ball is the one I am not as happy with. While the idea is a good one, the small treats or pieces of kibble that you place in the "teeth" of the ball are difficult to get out if the dog is a small breed, as mine is. The original kibble that I used is still stuck in the "teeth" of the ball. She doesn't even try to dig them out anymore. The red ball does have a place for a bully stick or other chew stick for the dog to use as a holder. The balls are a bit on the heavier side and slam the ground hard, so if you live where you have neighbors beneath you, you might want to use these balls for outdoor play. While they are a little larger than what a dachshund or in my case a minature dachshund would be suited for, my pup loves it nonetheless. No ball is too big for her mouth! I would probably recommend these balls to someone who had a larger dog breed like a retriever or shephard, but dachshunds are notoriously stubborn and would run around playing with these balls all day! Durable

BlueFootBirdieβ€”July 28, 2025

These treat-dispensing puzzle toys are fantastic for keeping my dogs entertained! The durable rubber is perfect for teething, and the slow feeder design helps with their eating pace. I love that they come in two sizesβ€”great for both my small and medium pups. Sturdy, fun, and very engaging. Highly recommend for any dog owner! Read more

Works as Intended.

J. Kasmierβ€”April 23, 2025

These balls are just as pictured. I did some experimenting before I reviewed: First, I put kibble in the red one. It was not something I enjoyed; It took a long time to wedge a piece into each cavity between the teeth. It kept my little dog occupied for around an hour. Next, I put loose treats in the blue one. This kept my dog occupied for around 30 minutes. Finally, I put peanut butter in the red one, and it kept my little dog occupied for around an hour again. My larger dog was occupied much longer, as his big tongue couldn't get in there as easily. Both dogs left peanut butter around the teeth. I would not use peanut butter again. I washed right away in the sink the first time, and it was not easy to get it all out. The second time, I let it dry and washed in the washing machine since the description said it could be done. The peanut butter came out more easily. I did not put peanut butter in the blue one because you cannot see in there to see if it is clean after washing. The material is not Kong soft, but it is not a hard plastic either. I will keep them. My dogs enjoy them. I wouldn't buy again because I am lazy and don't want to spend that much time loading up the red one. Read more

Not for small dogs.

Carol Bβ€”September 7, 2025

The size was too large for my terrier even though the description said it was for small, medium, and large dogs. They are also super hard. There's no way to get any treats in between the teeth of the red ball. Read more

well made

Marshall Sheltonβ€”June 18, 2025

our beagle puppies love these toys. They will play with them even after they run out of treats. They are made of flexible rubber material the pups love to chew on. The balls are very durable and the slight rubber smell wears off after just a couple of days. with the chewability and the price for two of these this is a great deal. Read more
