Fun and keeps dog busy, but watch them as they can rip off the fabric. Read more
We have a Golden Doodle puppy and he destroyed this in 2 days. We were hopeful that it was a bit of a tougher dog toy, but while he certainly had fun with it, it wasn't the kind of fun we wanted. The pieces you roll the food/kibble/treats into is just a felt material, so puppies with razor sharp teeth can chew through those quickly. That being said, an older, calmer dog that's not a puppy, may be more delicate in how they play with this toy. Read more
This is one of my younger pup’s favorite toys as it combines several things she loves. 1. From her days at the puppy mill she used to take treats or a bit of her food run out and come back for more repeat….she would wait until our senior was eating in”his” room and we weren’t looking - I peaked in and saw she had hiding places all over. Well gone are the days of needing to squirrel away food. That doesn’t mean she didn’t love a ball with seemingly endless things for her to pull out (another love of hers) and then find treats wrapped up in each one! 2. As I alluded to she loves to take things apart and this she can seemingly “destroy” (ie pull out all the.rolled up fabric and then lick and chew the ball a little in case she missed one. I take each piece of fabric and put a little sprinkle of healthy treats roll a little more and repeat. It takes under five minutes and makes her super happy plus it is good for her brain ton”forage” then she does the squeaker as a finale until big brother gives her the hairy eyeball. I think it is a great toy and would definitely order another one as she has really gone at it and it still is in good shape. Read more
The concept of this I thought was a good idea, but the execution of it is not so great in my opinion. It is really tedious to unroll several of these felt pieces and then roll them back with treats inside the roll then stuff the rolls back in the toy. My smart dog can easily figured out how to pull the ribbons out and expose all the treats at once. So I was disappointed that it didn’t work as it looks online. It really isn’t challenging and it doesn’t hold an attention span long. This works better as just a plain chew toy and not a treat dispenser or puzzle. Read more
This would be better for smaller animals. The ball itself is quite small. The openings are pretty small as well. I like it, it is just a bit too small for our dog and er treats. I personally prefer it to be bigger. But I am not going to fault this for my personal preference. I would buy this again for a smaller animal than what I have now. Read more
My dogs went feral for this. Stuff treats in, toss it, and boom—instant enrichment. Kept them busy for actual minutes, which is gold when I’m wrangling kids and chickens. Great for all dog sizes and durable so far. A solid win. Read more
I have 2 dogs - a long-haired German Shepherd and a Fox Hound-Beagle mix. Piper, the GSD, is a big girl, but isn’t destructive. She left that behind in her puppy phase. For her, this toy is engaging and fun. She puzzles out the treats fairly quickly but it provides about 5 minutes of entertainment. Annie the Fox Hound is a different story. Her nickname is destruct-a-dog. There’s nothing she can’t destroy in no time , and sadly this toy was no different. She dismantled it in a matter of minutes. The rubber ball part is still intact but the fabric strips (you wrap the treats up in those), have been decimated 😐. If your dog isn’t Annie, they’ll have fun ferreting out the treats from this. If your dog is Annie-inspired however, the fabric parts won’t last long. Overall, I recommend it for normal dogs :) Read more
