Due to my having carpal-tunnel syndrome as well as arthritis, I’ve become somewhat of an expert on wrist braces. Although I need to use the heavier wired braces for sleeping and most other activities, I prefer the soft braces for handwriting and for using on computer keyboards. I didn’t expect much from this pair of inexpensive wrist wraps, but I was delighted to be proven wrong. Their lightweight nylon-spandex fabric feels silky smooth and comfortable against my skin, and the velcro that secures each wrap is just the right amount to not get caught on other materials. If you crochet or do any similar fiber art, these are perfect wrist braces for it! I just need a little something to stabilize my wrists while crocheting. But so many other braces are bulky, have straps, velcro or fabric that my yarn gets tangled up in. The fabric on these are a smooth spandex, similar to the material athletic leggings are made of. The Velcro is that kind that is smooth and only sticks to each other. I have really small wrists so I’m also able to adjust the tightness without too much extra slack.
