5 months of use and the handle fell off of the pot. Coffee almost burnt me. Glad I was wearing a hot pad mitt on my other hand or it would have been a mess. Never put it in the dish washer. always washed by hand directly after use. Never been dropped. The plastic handle must have just been drilled too poorly, pivot point goes through the handle. Such a cute set! Not especially well made. Cups and saucers are great. Espeesso maker is a very tarnishable metal. First time I used it I got a serious burn on my hand while pouring out hot espresso. Perhaps its not a balanced design? The handle weight and thickness could use enhancing, which may make a safer pour. Read more
