This is a knock off of a slightly more fancier Belkin charging station. I bought it because my daughter has the original and I found it very practical since it charges a phone, watch and earphones at once without any cable wire mess around you. Extremely practical if you live in the Apple ecosystem. So this one comes at half the price or so, and I frankly could not discern any difference to the original design. Works flawlessly, so far. I got the new iPhone 15 Pro Max and had to replace my previous stand since lightning is no longer the connection. I wanted something wireless preferably with true 15W charging (most are 7.5 which is slow) and 3-in-1 so could charge AirPods, watch and phone together at night. I recently started using the standby landscape mode (alarm clock) so also wanted one that supports landscape and portrait mode for phone. Looked at a lot of items before deciding on this one. Now it’s only been a couple of days but this thing is awesome. Especially for the price as it DOES include the actual charging brick (so many of them don’t). Everything works exactly as described. Charges well. Looks nice on night stand. Literally my only wish is that it has another USB-C port for charging iPad (would need bigger charging brick) since I also charge that overnight. I recently bought an Apple Watch Ultra 3, so I specifically looked for a charging station with fast charging (5w) for Apple watches. There are relatively few of those out there in the lower price ranges, but I saw this one and was excited about it. Well, they lied. I got the charger and wasn't sure of what the speed was, but it seemed like it was going slower than my factory apple fast charging puck. Apple later did a software update that specifically shows whether it's attached to a slow charger, and sure enough, my watch reported that it was slow charging. Ugh. I absolutely hate it when manufacturers lie. The magnet is also really finicky on this one. There have been several times that I've had to fiddle with it for 30-60 seconds to get it to hold, and a couple of times, I'd hear a clunk a minute later as my phone fell off onto my nightstand. If the phone charger could rotate back even 15 degrees, gravity could help hold it in place, but the charger is firmly fixed in place, so that's not possible. I ended up buying a different charger that actually fast charges and that holds my phone much better. Read more
Edit: The company reached out to me and offered to replace the device under its 2 year warranty, which I accepted! The new one works perfectly fine, so I must’ve just gotten a dud. It seems like it charges the watch just as fast as the stock Apple cable connected to a 5W+ adapter, though I haven’t measured it to be sure. All in all, a solid product! The product itself is well built and looks good, but the charging functionality, specifically for the watch, seems pretty flaky. My watch will intermittently turn the screen on indicating that it’s charging, leading me to believe it’s getting an inconsistent current. It also started making a buzzing sound when the watch is connected. The watch also charges more slowly compared to using the stock charging cable and an AC adapter, but it’s faster than the last gen 2.5W. Maybe I got a dud, but I would recommend going for reputable brands for something as critical as charging your devices, even if it’s a little pricier. Read more
