My son recently got braces. With the take-home bag the orthodontist gave him to care for his teeth, there were special braces-approved flosses called the platypus. He loved them so I looked them up to buy more. They are quite pricey and my child has always been an avid flosser. Then, I stumbled upon these. They looked identical to the platypus but the price difference was massive. The reviews were largely very positive so I thought I’d give them a shot. These are excellent. In fact, my son stated that he actually prefers these over the platypus as they’re more comfortable to use! I am so glad because the value is absolutely insane for the amount of flosses you get, the quality is higher, and the ease of use is a huge selling point! We will now continue to purchase these for the next two years till he has braces, and glad that we will not be overpaying for them! Get them!! Read more
Works perfect for braces. One side is smaller to go in between the tooth and the wire. Exactly the ones my son’s orthodontist told me to order. Read more

The platypus flossers are very similar, but bent with my overcrowded teeth. These are a little sturdier than the name brand and about $0.04 each compared to $0.25 each for the name brand. After a thicker wire was installed I found that these were harder to use on all my teeth and I had to use real floss at certain phases while my teeth shifted. As an adult male with braces, I'm unsure if these would fit for children or adults with small mouths. The don't easily fit between my tighter spaces both between the attachments and between the wire and my tooth. You mile may vary, but they're inexpensive compared to others so I'd definitely give them a shot if you're tired of threading floss! Read more

They pretty much get the job done, but the floss immediately starts shredding. I probably should have searched for "waxed" flossers, with a brush tip. These are nothing like I was expecting, but thankfully they didn't cost much so it's not a huge loss. The pointy tip really stabs into my hand when trying to floss. And the knot on the end that is supposed to fit under the braces wire is pretty thick, and so is the plastic. It doesn't fit in between every tooth, so i will have to find another brand. Read more
