Why did you pick this product vs others?: I bought this jacket because I previously bought their rain pants and love them. The jacket is excellent, with great fit and styling. The pockets are large and my phone in an Otterbox fits in the chest pocket. The zippers are quality-made. Quality is obvious. I like the velcro close on the sleeves. The hood fits well and does not obscure vision. The jacket is made of a breathable fabric and very comfortable to wear. Also, it easily packs down into the included pouch and the packed size is incredibly small ! I've worn it several times but only once in a light rain and it was waterproof. I have worn this jacket in locations from Tennessee to Washington State to the top of Kīlauea in Hawaii, and it has never let me down. It's truly waterproof, wind proof, warm, and lightweight. Wow, wow, wow. I love this jacket. It’s lightweight but holds up to the rain great! The size is perfect for me. Covers everything nicely. I love that it can roll up and fit into a little tote bag for ease of travel. It’s easy to use and has nice venting zippers. I love all of the pockets that it offers. The color is great and classic (I bought black). No weird smell from it either which is a super plus for me. Love this jacket! Lightweight but warm when layering with thick shirt or sweatshirt. Wind proof and water proof. It’s a little pricey! Love the pockets. Tags say machine wash. I have washed it on a short cycle and hung it to dry. Once it dries the wrinkle appearance is gone. Would order another color if price was less. But highly recommend. Read more

This rain jacket works well and I like that the style is more fitted rather than boxy. The jacket has some nice details like Velcro adjustments at the cuffs to keep out the wind and rain and an adjustment at the back of the hood that can be used to adjust the depth of the hood so it doesn't hang down too far over your face. The hood cinches down nicely to stay put in windy conditions and keep the rain out. I wore it during a trip to Scotland and it did a great job of blocking wind and rain. I absolutely love the color of this jacket and love the jacket itself. I’ve recently lost a lot of weight and I’m now a size 14 on the top and the extra large jacket fits comfortably. I needed a jacket that was completely waterproof for walking my dogs, however; I get very hot very easily so I love that this jacket has zippers in the armpits to allow for airflow without the rain getting in. It matched it's description perfectly. Fits great. Looks great. It's lightweight and well-made. I haven't had the opportunity to wear it in the rain yet. But so far I like it. It's for wearing on safari in hot muggy rainy conditions. It was hard to find a real waterproof, breathable, lightweight rain jacket that is packable in it's own little pouch, so it takes very little room. It was everything I was looking for. Best raincoat ever. Definitely kept me dry during heavy rain during hikes in New Zealand. It's also kept me warm because it's quite thick. Extremely small once it's rolled up and dries easily. It can be worn with or without rain. Great product. Read more
