Very happy with this

Ariane SassenSeptember 2, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I just received my jacket in light green. The color is a bit different from what I expected—more of an olive green than a bright light green—but I actually like it! It’s a nice change from the usual black jackets I wear. The material feels soft and comfortable, and the fit is great. I ordered XL so I can layer a sweater underneath in colder weather, and it works perfectly. The seams are sealed, the pockets are exactly as described, and overall it feels well made. It’s also very lightweight, which makes it ideal for travel. The travel pouch is a little bigger than it looks in the pictures, but still convenient—you can easily fold the jacket into a compact roll. The hood also rolls up neatly into the collar, which I really appreciate. As for the waterproofing: this jacket has a 5000mm waterproof rating, which means it’s designed for light to moderate rain, not for hours of heavy downpour. Some reviewers mention it’s “not waterproof,” but this is simply a matter of understanding the rating. For quick showers, light rain, and travel, it’s exactly what I needed. What Waterproof Rating: 5000mm / Breathability: 5000g/m2/24hr really means: 1,500–5,000mm: Water-resistant, suitable for light rain and dry snow. 5,000–10,000mm: Waterproof for light to moderate rain and average snow. 10,000–15,000mm: Good waterproofing, handles prolonged moderate rain or heavy showers. 16,000–20,000mm: Highly waterproof, protects well in heavy rain and wet snow. 20,000mm+: Superior waterproofing, designed for extreme conditions. So yes—this is indeed a waterproof jacket, but within the 5,000mm range, which is absolutely fine and clearly stated in the description. Overall, I’m very happy with this jacket—it’s lightweight, comfortable, packable, and perfect for travel or everyday use in light rain. Read more

Even better than I expected

a viewerOctober 18, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I love it when a product exceeds my expectations as this one did. More about that below. First please note that this is rated at 5,000 for "water resistance." A rating of 5,000 is not meant to be totally waterproof in extended heavy rains, but I have an umbrella to help in that case. However, I tested this jacket by putting my arm (the sleeve) under my kitchen faucet with the cold water fully on for about 15 seconds. The water rolled off and my arm stayed dry. (For even better water resistance this brand also offers a more expensive version rated at 10,000, which would be better and more waterproof for extended hiking, etc.) This one rated at 5,000 should work fine for what I need, though, and I like its features a little better. I don't know how wind resistant it may be. What I love about this rain jacket: The Fog Blue color is accurately shown on my screen, a lovely soft pale blue with perhaps a tiny touch of gray and aqua tones. I was concerned that it would be too short for a rain jacket, but on me (5'3") it comes to just below the tush; longer than on the model and is the coverage I like. I ordered my regular size and it seems true to size. It's fine over a regular shirt or top, but for layering over a thick sweater you might want to size up. I bought it for warmer weather and travel and it's about perfect. The sleeves are a little long on me (I usually order petites) but the elastic keeps the wrists in place. No complaints at all so far. The hood fits well; it extends a little but doesn't fall down over my face, and if I push it back a little it stays. It's not adjustable at the back, but on me it fits fine as is. I love the four pockets, two for your hands that can be zipped and two deep inside pockets that don't zip. (I"m glad they're not on the chest because that would put the contents sitting out in front of one of the "girls" and look weird.) The jacket is also very lightweight and thin, and I was able to fold and roll it to get it inside the storage sack on the first try, with a little final cramming. The zippers are the same color as the jacket and seem good quality. The front placket covers the zipper. The jacket arrived with the hood rolled inside the collar and you wouldn't know it was there. No need for the hood to be detachable. Only a tiny very subtle brand logo that looks like a triple figure 8 near the bottom, no words, and almost invisible and unnoticeable. The jacket is hand washable, air dry, which is okay as it's not a jacket that will get daily use. I ordered it mainly to take on a river cruise and I'm very pleased with it. It's also a great value, much less expensive than the name brands. Read more

Nice Quality Jacket

CinderellapumpkinOctober 15, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I spent hours looking on Amazon for a windbreaker. I chose this one and I am happy I did. I love the color. It's a beautiful dark plum color. The zippered outside pockets are nice with extra slots inside the front of each side to put papers/etc. I like it's length which goes past my bum. But it is a bit large for me. I am 5' 4" and weight 127 lbs I got a size medium and a small probably would have fit better, but I do have long arms so this jacket's arm length probably fits better. I'm keeping it because it will easily fit another fleece jacket inside or a fleece long sleeved pullover which would then give me layers for a winterized jacket. I like that it is not lined, so I can layer it myself or just wear it in the cooler months but keep out the wind. I haven't worn it in the rain yet, but the seams are all taped and it seems like it will do a good job of being water resistant/or proof. It feels and seems to be a high quality item. The fabric is a nice weight and the seams are well sewed. Edited: I got caught in an absolute downpour, the jacket was watertight and there were no leaks. So I'm happy about that!!! Read more

Lightweight and breathable!

Jeannie LovvornJune 17, 2025✓ Verified purchase

I like this rain jacket allot. It looks really nice on. The fit is kinda tight around the breast but it’s probably just me. Seems to be a good quality material. Very lightweight and breathable. Most importantly it’s rainproof. Very comfortable to wear. Folds up and fits into small bag for easy transport. You can also fold hat into collar. Zipper closure or Velcro. Just an all around great rain jacket! Read more
