Good DIY replacement (use with a rigid cover/case) for LapWorks Handle Stand Cover for iPad!

UPDATE a year later, the handle is still fixed strongly on the rigid case. I started using the stand feature and is a bit narrow, but works well on hard surfaces. Installation tip.. take care to align the handle with the axis of the ipad.. mine is slightly off which causes a slight tilt when using the stand on a mattress. END UPDATE For years, I had various LapWorks Soft Grip Handle Stands and used them as hand holders, only. Got a new iPad and found that the LapWorks were no longer available! The handle cases available were bulky and ugly, so I made a very good DIY replacement by purchasing a HUIKWAN Clear Diamond Case to which I adhered the MRUOZRUI swivel holder. The end product is great and $$. The handle is not a soft as the LapWorks, but livable. The pre-cut adhesive tape has held well (6 months). I do not use the stand feature at all. Read more

I love how much easier the Velcro handle is to remove and reinstall that the one that came with my tablet case. The stand is a bit flimsy though, and it was because the stand that was on my tablet broke that I purchased this product, so I was mildly disappointed. Poor Quality Stand. Stiff 360 rotation

The stand doesn't lock into place very well, and one of the strip like magnets inside the adjustable stand fell out within days of purchase. The hand grip was comfortable, but the rotation of the hand grip would only work with just enough force short of bending the ipad. Your mileage may vary, but this was a short journey for me.
