This is a great product. We used to use tide and noticed that the tide did not last as long and was filled with a lot of chemicals. This soap goes a lot longer than a tide bottle with the same amount of ounces. You don’t need to use as much and it cleans just as well without all those harsh chemicals that irritate your skin. Concentrated, mild; not overpowering fragrance, requires a minimal amount per wash cycle for effective results. Easy to use, the quality of the product is very good and environmentally friendly. I have not experienced any problems with it adversely affecting items washed with it. I cannot comment on its ability to provide skin protection or its softness. For stuff like cleaning products you need the “toxins” in order to kill bacteria. Most natural stuff isn’t strong enough to kill viruses and bacteria, which is the whole point of cleaning. It’s just cleaning dirt and grime off the surfaces. example: Bacteria thrives on handles and countertops and if you aren’t using products to kill the germs then it’s not clean. same with clothes, It doesn’t contain perfumes. But no matter what the detergent is like this one., there are going to be chemicals, because that’s how soap is made and how it gets things clean. Most of those products are expensive gimmicky products that use scare tactics right on the front of the bottle.
