After years and year of insomnia, turns out we humans are much like parrots. (I had the screechiest parrot ever, and as soon as I put a dark cover over his cage, he went right to sleep.) After trying the melatonin, several big pharma sleep aids, several OTC sleep aids, I decided that the only thing that would help me sleep is listening to boring youtube videos but that still took hours for me to wind down. Turns out, if you put one of these masks an. they not only block the blue light but ALL the light, next thing I know, I'm falling asleep every night in literally MINUTES instead of Hours! I previously tried some cheaper ones from the dollar store, but some of them would slip and slide around, these are adjustable and once you adjust them to fit you, they STAY in place! They are soft and cushion-y and oh so comfortable to wear. There is space in there if you wear lashes so you won't crush them but they still block 100 percent of the light. They are thick in a good way, like memory foam. Now my daughter took my spare one and her 3 year battle with insomnia? SOLVED! (and with NO MEDS or SUPPLEMENTS whatsoever in either of our cases). Sometimes the simplest solution works. By the way, solved the snoring and tossing and turning and waking with completely dry crusty mouth and lips by taping my mouth shut with waterproof foam medical tape, but that's a story for another time. As someone who is easily woken up and has tried everything from sleep aids, black-out curtains, etc, as well as other sleep masks, WHAT IS THIS SORCERY?!! I've used this for a couple+ nights already, and instead of waking up every hour like I used to, this item puts me to sleep and KEEPS me asleep. It is so comfortable, and as you see in the 2nd photo, it doesn't push on your eyes as many other masks do. It is light weight and fits so well especially with the adjustable strap (I have a big head, so that came in handy). The fabric is extremely durable from what I can tell so far, and after I washed it, it was not damaged. These masks are an absolute GAME CHANGERS!! I have been sleeping in a standard sleep mask nightly for more than a year and have to come to love it. I went to Amazon to simply replace my old standard one and I came across this option. For the price, I thought I would try it. I ended up purchasing 2 sets, so that my kids and husband could also try it (none of them sleep in a mask regularly). When I tell you that after the first night, we were ALL fans of this mask!!!!!
