I'm really happy with this balaclava! It is made from a super soft and fluffy fleece that is incredibly comfortable against the skin. I particularly like the drawstrings because I can cinch it down to fit tightly around my face to keep the cold air from getting in. I'm a petite woman, and this definitely has a lot of extra fabric to cinch in, so I think it would fit larger people just fine and wouldn't feel restrictive. There's also plenty of length to it so that you can easily tuck it into your coat or under your shirt collar for maximum warmth. It washed up well and even got fluffier! I washed it in warm water and dried it on medium heat, and there was no shrinking, fading or piling. Considering the quality, warmth, and versatility, I think the price is great. I have a very active, very large dog that needs a good 3-mile walk every morning, rain, shine or bone-chilling cold. And the big puffy coat I bought for said walks has a hood that just won’t stay up! So I am ridiculously excited about this balaclava. It is SO soft and SO cozy. It’s not at all tight (trust me, I have a large head) but it still fits close enough that I feel like it will protect my ears from the wind. Plus, it has drawstrings if I need to really batten down the hatches lol. And the face flap will keep my lips and cheeks from freezing, but is easy to pull down if needed. The neck is long enough that I will be able to tuck it into my coat and it will stay snug and I’ll stay warm. The fabric is very much synthetic, but honestly this makes me feel like it should hold up in the wash, and I imagine washing it often, as it will get sweaty! Read more

I ordered the fleece mask for my grandson. Who has to catch the bus to school each morning. Since the bus is unpredictable as to when it will arrive, I wanted something that he could have on for standing outside for long periods of time. This fleece definitely will meet those expectations. The mask is large enough as not to feel confiding. The features that I like all the drawstrings to make sure that the mask fits securely around his face. Also, the bottom pot raises up to the point where it could cover his nose, which seems to become a cold part of your body when you’re exposed to the elements. The black will go with any color coat that he has so that’s a plus. I highly recommend the ski mask to anyone who is looking for comfort in the cold. Read more

Soft, very fuzzy, with good length and versatility. Wore this out on a recent 40 degree morning and while the drawstrings allow you to tighten the loose fitting bottom half closer to your face, the fabric itself is not lined and the wind cut right through it. The synthetic material feels like it should be warmer than it is since it doesn't protect from those biting winds. I will say it was warm when the wind wasn't blowing and it is long enough to protect the entire neck and tuck into the top of my jacket. I felt like I needed a cap in addition though - like in the pictures, but the bottom pulls up and stays put over the nose. I did wash it first and air dried it - the extreme fuzziness came out somewhat more matted after the wash so I am not sure that the quality of this hoodie will allow for multiple washes. A good item in my winter toolbox, but not the slamdunk multipurpose hat I was hoping for. Read more
