Pretty great stuff right here!, a couple tips are make sure you dilute with distilled water to avoid staining, and use distilled water to rinse off, used a vacuum, and a couple rags to clean up my car and it left my carpet and seats pretty clean and fresh smelling. This is a great product. It cleans brilliantly, leaving almost no odor - just a touch of lemon. And it's a fantastic bargain: because it's super concentrated (the instructions call for you to dilute it 16 to 1), it ends up costing less than a penny per fluid oz. Compare this with Hoover's standard issue 2X concentrate, which after dilution costs over 10 cents per fl oz, and, well, just doesn't clean as well. Note: this is the "high foam" version of this company's upholstery & carpet cleaning solution. In the Amazon description and on the bottle, there's nothing about using this in a carpet cleaning machine, so I called their customer service. They couldn't have been nicer, and said that while it was safe for my machine, I would be better off with their "low foam" Extractor product. But since I had already bought this, I gave it a try, and it worked fine. The only slight catch is that with the extra foam in the dirty water tank, the full-indicator float engages a bit sooner than usual - a small trade-off for the extra-strength foaming action of this version (think "scrubbing bubbles"). And it works great with just a brush or sponge, making it for spot-cleaning, pre-spotting, and use on small areas - like auto upholstery detailing, which this company specializes in. Read more

I used this in a carpet extractor, used it 16:1, that is 8 oz per gallon of water, inside a VERY dirty, smelly truck carpet. Cleaned great, smelled great. BUT, after all done cleaning and vacuuming as much water out, I had a lot of soap residue. I ran my hand over it and it was slippery. Ended up using straight water a couple of passes to get the soap out. I did use a defoamer in the catch basin with no issues. So, i would not use this in a carpet extractor machine at least with the 16:1 dilution. Seems to me that I needed a much more dilute solution everywhere. I realize they make a chemical for extractors, but I was doing carpets, upholstery, etc.. SO, I bought one flavor and tried it. Just sharing my experience. Also used it in a tornado gun, that was awesome, but also have to follow up with water. After using water for a chaser, it worked great. Just wanted to share my experience. I am pretty sure it cleaned better than using straight extractor chemicals, but a painful rinse cycle. Read more
