I use a humidifier almost daily during fall and winter due to dry skin, and replacing disposable filters often became costly. This washable humidifier filter fits both home and office use and works well with my humidifier model. The filter feels sturdy with evenly spaced pores and has enough thickness to hold its shape. Installation is simple and does not require tools, just remove the old filter and insert the new one. After some use, the mist feels finer, and I see less white dust settling on nearby surfaces. The filtered water also helps reduce mineral buildup inside the humidifier. One feature I value is that the filter can be washed and reused. When it gets dirty, I rinse it with clean water to remove scale and dust, then let it dry. Compared to disposable filters, it reduces replacement frequency and feels more cost effective over time. The Slientspin K50 is a single‑pack, blue (with black) filter engineered for use in humidifiers with a 3‑liter water capacity. Its compact dimensions (7.5 in. height × 11.4 in. width × 7.5 in. depth) allow it to fit into most standard units, and the filter is built for quiet operation. When installed, it is meant to work with the humidifier’s mist‑free 3‑L evaporative system, delivering clean, natural moisture without visible mist, white dust, or wet surfaces. It is also washable, which means it can be cleaned and reused rather than disposed of after a single use, potentially offering a more economical and environmentally friendly option than disposable filters. The media could not be loaded. This is a nice little humidifier so far. I just got it and immediately started using it. My only complaint is the controls and instructions. I know my bedroom is super dry and in the teens on humidity level. But this is showing 51%? Or is that the goal it's trying to get the room too, I don't know. The slider doesn't work well, so I just use the + - buttons. It's quiet so I like that. The USB-C cord is pretty small. I will give it a little while to see if I notice any difference in my dry nose and throat. Read more

The Silentspin 3L evaporative humidifier... What works - this evaporative humidifier got my relative humidity from the low teens to a nice 50%. The goal is around 40-50% for me. I have a small room. The almost full gallon tank gets used up fairly quickly. You don't need to use filtered water *because* it's an evaporative humidifier which means it goes through a filter first, and a fan evaporates the water around the filter into the air. I specifically wanted an evaporative filter for this reason. It's easy to fill, doesn't take up a lot of space, and is relatively quiet (think small fan sound). You can give it a nice ambient light glow. It's cute and it does the job. What doesn't work (for me) - it is hard to see the fill level with my (maybe not so great eyes). It is hard to control the RH% that the machine is targeting (25, 50, 75, 100??) It turns out that once you set it, it automatically goes up to 100 anyway, so setting it doesn't make sense anyway. The cord it comes with is pathetically short. Luckily, it's USB C, so you might have a cord that fits. What I haven't checked out - the price of replacement filters. This humidifier is expensive enough on its own (for me), and the price of replacement filters can make or break the upkeep of this thing. The manual says to change filters every 3-6 months. However, I cannot find where a replacement filter is sold *anywhere*, and with this being a cartridge-style evaporative wick, standard replacement wicks will not work. So... what to do. Going to try to contact silentspin to see how to proceed. I've attached a photo of the manual, because I didn't find the buttons to be super user-friendly. Read more

This humidifier has been a nice addition to a bedroom or office setup. The mist comes out evenly without leaving surfaces damp, and the overall operation feels quiet and unobtrusive, especially at night. The top-fill design makes refilling quick and mess-free, and the touch controls are simple to use without needing to read through instructions every time. I also like the clean, compact look and how easy it is to keep clean compared to bulkier units. The sleep mode and soft night light add a calming touch without being distracting. Overall, it’s a convenient, well-designed humidifier that fits easily into daily routines. Read more
