I was having a problem with wet items sitting on the bathroom counter and never really drying. Adding these have solved the problem. They quickly absorb the drips and dry quickly. I particularly like the groves on this set -- it looks nice and allows a little air circulation. They've had the added benefit of making the counter look more organized. I really wanted to like these. They are definitely absorbent. They start to dry immediately upon getting water on them. However, they get dirty very easily and it's hard to get the dirt off, even with the sandpaper they supplied for it. I also had an issue with the little guards they give you for the bottom of the trays so they don't scratch anything. They came off easily especially if they got wet. They would probably work in an area where there is not so much water. My bathroom sink sees a lot of water and it wasn't working for me. Read more
