This wedge pillow has surprised me so much with it's comfort and how you really do not feel the lift so much but it helps so much. I have serious COPD and laying flat down makes it hard to breath and this is just great for having a good night sleep now. It is so comfortable and soft to the touch. I do use a pillow with it as well but this product does help for me and especially if you get a bad cold and need that extra lift from drainage that would keep you coughing all night. Read more

I have tried various foam wedge type pieces and none have worked because they are too hard or too tall or too thick. I had surgery and must sleep at an angle for awhile while I recover. I received this item yesterday, along with a knee wedge made by the same company. I must tell you that both of these items are perfect. Perfect softness (not too soft and not too firm). The larger piece is easy to configure several different positions, and works exactly as I need it to. I would highly recommend the knee wedge pillow and this item if you are required to be at an incline in bed for sleeping. It also works great for sitting up in bed to read, etc. The only complaint I have is that the head rest pieces are too hard - they need to be about 20% less hard. Perhaps the manufacturer will read this and take heed. Otherwise, it is perfecto! Also, if you feel the entire piece is too thick, you can cut the extra piece off (the smaller wedge that is sewn on and is adjustable) and use it for other purposes. I did this and the smaller piece can now be used as a shorter lower height knee wedge, or by itself as a "prop up" piece under my pillow if I do not want the full height of the entire piece. Nice wedge pillow set. Only one issue. The Velcro on the removable pillow has hooks that, if they come into contact with the finely woven main pillowcase, can pull the threads loose. The fiber pad for the Velcro should be placed on the removable pillow, not on the hooks. Or they need another solution. 4 stars out of 5. Read more

While overall I like this product, there are several adjustments that could/should be made that would make it so much better. First, the Pros: -Firm yet soft -Velvet cover feels luxurious -Adjustable wedge pieces that are easy to use -Sleeping incline is perfect height even for side sleepers (but only if not using "pillow" it comes with as a pillow) -Medium sitting incline is good for relaxing while reading in bed -Full sitting upright incline is great for working from bed -Support "pillow" is good for lumbar, side, and knee bolus support; found can also be a nice, light ankle support Now, Cons: -To use the bolus as a "pillow" in the medium incline sleeping position, in order to position one's neck properly (laying on one's back) to look up at a 45 degree angle from my 5'4" frame and have my lumbar supported on the wedge, my head would hang off the top of the wedge and into the gap between the lower triangle and my headboard; plus, the side Velcro is barely long enough for the bolus Velcro to secure to when in that position -The side Velcro when using the bolus in the lumbar position has the same difficulty; in order to use it effectively, it is always just at the edge of where it needs to be in order to be ergonomically correct for my posture to be supported properly: manufacturing could easily correct this issue with adding a full strip of Velcro along the sides with an added flap of cover fabric that folds over the unused Velcro so sleepers are not scratched by any that the bolus is not attached to; this way, no matter how short or tall a user is, or what exactly their neck or torso measurements are, they can perform micro adjustments -Side pockets are simply too snug for some phones, and yet are completely unusable for anything other than one's phone once the unit is converted into a sleeping angle as the lower wedge is turned upside down, rendering it a useless feature: manufacturing could add a Velcro flap option that could be tucked into the pocket and Velcroed down if users don't want it or Velcroed to the outside of they do -Is it really so difficult to dye Velcro the same or near the same color as the product cover? Users purchase items in certain colors (say, for instance, black) because maybe they have black bedding; it's difficult enough needing orthopedic/medical bedding and trying to maintain some form of aesthetic, but having glaring white patches in a sea of black bedding...personally, the detail would be worth paying a couple of dollars extra Read more

Absolutely great pillow-sturdy but soft, stays in place, adjustable and removable neck pillow is great. Used this post-op for hysterectomy and for pelvic floor PT exercises. Then used it after shoulder surgery. Great for sitting up in bed and watching TV as well. Read more
