I have been using this pan daily and the pan is excellent quality. There is no odor. The pan is balanced. I get perfect results every time and I find it easy and convenient to use. There is even heat distribution and I appreciate that it doesn’t fall over like my old skillet because the weight is balanced. It is safe to use if you follow directions and know how to cook. Here’s what I do: 1. First of all, I follow the directions about cleaning and care of the pan. I hand wash it using hot water and a little mild dish soap (if needed). I don’t use dish soap after every use but did so prior to the first use. 2. I have a gas stove. I place the empty pan on a burner and let it warm up on the lowest setting (2) for 90 seconds. 3. After 90 seconds, I add a bit of butter to each egg cup and let it melt. 4. I use the baster brush (included with the pan) to spread the butter evenly in the egg cup. I cook everything throughout on the lowest possible setting (2-on my gas burner) 5. I place 1/2 English muffin in each front egg cup. 6. I pour the batter of one scrambled egg (I use 1 egg and a dash of milk whipped until frothy with a wire whisk) split evenly between the two back egg cups. 7. I sprinkle seasoning (I like dried rosemary and red chili flakes) on the top of each egg batter in the cup. 8. When the eggs are almost set (done on top-no longer wet), I turn over the English muffin halves to lightly toast the other side. 9. When the eggs are set, I turn off the heat, remove the muffins and eggs with the little red spatula (included with the pan) and assemble the breakfast sandwich—bottom English muffin half, both scrambled eggs halves, a slice of cheese, and add the remaining English muffin half for the top. The breakfast egg sandwich tastes even better than it looks. The pan still looks brand new because I don’t overheat it, I hand wash it (usually with just hot water now). This is the best pan ever! It paid for itself the first day by letting me make quick, convenient, healthy meals at home instead of fast food. If you follow the instructions, know how to cook and how to properly care for nonstick cookware, you will make delicious meals in a pan built to last for many years.
