I just used mine today for the first time and it works great; I was eating my finished sandwich in five minutes. I used a little butter for flavor, but the non-stick surface works great without it. The egg came out perfect for a hamburger bun egg and cheese sandwich. Comes with a silicon brush and spatula to assist with cooking. Easy assembly of pan handle and glass lid handle. FYI, both handles are made of wood and stay cool during the cooking process. Also, when I assembled the glass lid handle, I placed the silicon washer on the outside of the lid between the handle and glass. I would call this a very good student grade pan. It's not like black iron ware, but for the price and for as good as it is, you can't beat it. For elderly and handicapped, it is light weight and a diminuative size. It washes up in a flash and cooks well. And I must call your attention to the rubber wood handle which will keep the handle cool to the touch throughout the cooking process. I must confess I am now in love with this culinary friendly wood. The only momentary problem I had was the "little light assembly" part. When it comes to such things, I'm not the brightest bulb in the pack. But, once I figured out that both the metal and silicon shims go on the lid (metal inside, silicon out) the whole thing came together easy-peasy. This is a great little pan that will give years of good service. There are two more in this line with the rubber wood handles; the 3 hole for bacon an egg and a bun pan, and also the small, rectangular Tamagoyaki omlette pan. Bought it on a whim. Pleasantly pleased and surprised at its functionality! Always on the go in the morning with digs to walk and feed, I usually skip breakfast, but no more. I’m able to fry up sausage, chorizo and and egg or two while prepping my dogs food at the same time that my breakfast cooks. I even have time to choose to have pancakes!
