I had high hopes for these refillable butane lighters, but they’ve been more frustrating than functional. Right out of the box, one of them wouldn’t ignite consistently, and the others started failing after just a few uses. Even after carefully following the refill instructions and using high-quality butane, the flame was unreliable and often sputtered out. The build feels cheap, and the flame adjuster barely works — it’s either too high or won’t light at all. For something meant to be convenient and reusable, this was a letdown. I’ve wasted more time trying to get these lighters working than I ever did with disposable ones. I can’t recommend these based on my experience. You're better off investing in a higher-quality brand or sticking with something more dependable. Read more

Just received these torches so can't speak to long term reliability yet, but so far all four work pretty well. They hold enough butane to be useful for quite a while and the lever lock keeps them safe in a pocket or pack. The tilt head and clear butane reservoir are both useful features. However, a few things to be aware of: 1. the included instructions are of little use, but the Amazon description page mentions relieving the pressure before attempting to fill the torch with butane. Definitely do this. 2. the torches have a lever to adjust flame size. On the four torches I received the lever needs to be at least halfway, preferably all the way, to the "+" setting for the torch to light reliably. It either doesn't light or lights for a second and goes out if the lever is all the way to the "-" setting. Not a deal breaker, but not the way it should be. 3. as another commenter mentioned, the chain connecting the cap to the body is very weak; one broke just by removing the cap. I replaced all the chains with short lengths of small shock cord to avoid having another chain break at an inopportune time. (see picture). Overall, these torches are mostly functional and very inexpensive; so worth the price so far. Read more

They are well made and good size, but are hit and miss if they will light. Sometimes I have to mess with the +/- dial to get them to light Read more
