Good value, bright beyond belief. For a shop with 13 foot ceilings, almost too bright. Lightweight and ready to go right out of the box. Only downside is need to wear a hat to keep glare out of my eyes. Would work better if higher. Could possibly use some kind of shade below the light? Kinda like looking into the sun. Recommended! Would buy again. Read more
We put these in the shop. They are very bright! Hopefully they hold up well, but so far so good. Read more

Incredibly bright although about a month into owning them one has a slight flicker on occasion. Time will tell if I have to replace it or not. At least they're relatively cheap. I'd give em 5 stars otherwise. Read more

My wife is slightly bewildered when she looks up in the pole barn/workshop/storage building and sees 14 different brands and styles of high-bay lighting. Such is the life of the spouse of a Vine reviewer. I have spent quite a while assessing the pros and cons of various lights coming onto the market. Many of them are very similar and it comes down to do you want it to have a plug on the end of the cord, or do you want it hardwired? Do you want it dimmable, or do you plan on taking advantage of the full power and intensity of the light? And what is the reputation of the supplier/manufacturer? To answer the last first, there are so many on the market now it is virtually impossible to state anything with certainty regarding quality and expected lifespan. Even established name-brand lights appear to have been made by some of the same Chinese companies who have names I can't pronounce. For me, in a workshop I want the brightest lighting I can get, so I give no value to one of these lights being dimmable. If I had a smaller building with a lower ceiling it might be a handy thing to have available. These appear to not be dimmable. I like my lights hardwired, however, it is easy to install an outlet in the same box, and these do come with a plug attached to a 5' cord. If a person insisted on it being hardwired, snipping the plug off the end is quite easy. Or, you can replace the plugged cord with some 14/4 w/g or 12/2 w/g wire and keep the pigtail for replacing a cord on a power tool, or something similar. Almost all of these lights are waterproof, have a cast aluminum body with multiple cooling fins, have a safety hook and a safety wire for keeping it secure and avoiding any catastrophic fall. And this one is quite bright, although I don't think I'd put it more than 14' above your working area. The closer the spacing the higher they can go, however. So for this level of light output - keep in mind that also means more power consumption and fewer per circuit - at this price I think this is a very good deal. And now at least in part of the workshop there is a more even level of light. Their lifespan is anyone's guess. Just the way this LED lighting goes I'm afraid. Read more
The media could not be loaded. I'm in the process of upgrading the lighting in my garage, workshop and storage areas from the current fluorescent lighting to these new LED, high bay type of lights. I can't say enough about how impressive these lights are and the phenomenal job they do for lighting up an area they are placed in! These lights are VERY easy to install, whether it be in an existing structure or in a newly built one, all you need to do is to install the hanging hook in the back of the fixture, install another hook or other mount in the ceiling, attach the security cable and then plug it in. The lights have a standard 110V, 5' long power cord which plugs into a normal, household electrical receptacle. The lights do not have an on-off switch, if you want to be able to turn them on and off, you'll need to have the receptacles wired to a circuit controlled by a switch or breaker so the circuit can be deactivated. If you want to hard wire them to existing wiring, you can snip off the plug end and wire them directly to your wiring. These lights are great for warehousing, shops, garages - virtually any structure which needs bright and quality lighting. People have mentioned using them in grow houses, when camping where the campsite has power, as portable lighting when working on projects, vehicles, etc. Another good feature is, they are very economical in many ways - ease of installation means you save on labor costs, efficiency of the LED lighting and longevity of the fixtures saves money with lower energy and maintenance costs over time, you'll likely need less fixtures to light up a given area, portability, etc. And if you compare to fluorescent-style lighting, no more flickering lights, fixtures with only one bulb working, changing ballasts or replacing bulbs, etc. All of these aspects are what make these lights such a good choice for your lighting needs, especially if upgrading your lighting. The only drawback to these types of lights is, they tend to get fairly hot due to the high power light output from the LEDs. But these lights have excellent heat dissipation properties, just be careful though where you install them, I wouldn't recommend installing them anywhere near to anything which might be adversely affected by heat. Regarding the specifications, 200 watts and 30,000 lumens is on the upper scale compared to other high bay lights, another reason these are so bright. Life expectancy is said to be 50,000+ hours - doing the math, that's almost 6 years if you leave them on and never turn them off or, if you figure using them half a day (12 hours), that's almost 12 years of life! Heck, by the time these things go bad, we will have developed settlements on Mars! But seriously, that is a very long time and a testament to the quality and economic aspects of the lights. Overall, I highly recommend these bulbs for the many reasons mentioned in this review. I have several in three different structures on my property and I am absolutely ecstatic with how well they light up the areas I have them in, especially the ones above my work bench. I know you'll feel the same way after getting them! Read more
