I'm sure these won't last as long as the big name brands. But, for the price, these are a great deal! It says it has four different levels of grit and polish, and it actually DOES! I must have ordered five different cheap block nail files from Amazon. When you finally get them, the grit (or lack of it) on each side is identical! They were definitely throw-aways! They're not really shaped in a way that makes it easy to buff your nails. If you try to get close to the bottom of your nail, the edges of the block feel like they'll slice your cuticles open. Cheap for a reason. But it works fine for where on your nails you can reach. Read more

This is excellent for shaping and polishing fingernails and toe nails. It is possible for me to reach my toes myself and maintain the nails with this buffer block. With nail boards I cannot exert pressure nor change the grit easily Read more
