Air Pump operation The main LCD display deals mostly with air pump operation. Apart from showing its internal battery charge (5-bar graph), it doesn’t seem to have a function when jumping a car. When the power button is pressed, it displays the current air pressure. Its mode select button rotates between custom (*), ball, bicycle, motorcycle, and car tire inflation. When its air hose connects to a tire, it displays the measured tire pressure. Use the + and - keys to set the desired inflation pressure and long-press the power button to start the pump. It will inflate the tire and automatically shut off when the desired pressure is reached. It also shuts off for 3 minutes whenever it needs to cool down. Therefore, it works best when the tire needs only a few PSI more (as when the car’s TPS light comes on). I prefer a more powerful pump for inflating very low or fully flat tires. Jump-Starting The unit boasts 4000A peak current, which should be compared with similar claims of other jump starters (but I cannot verify that claim). The manual is weak in the describing how this all works. (I have read about super-capacitors that store lots of charge and can very rapidly discharge a high current when presented the low resistance of a starter motor, thus providing higher instantaneous (very brief) starting current than a mostly-flat battery. This may be the technology behind the 4000A claim, but neither the listing or the manual describe how it is done.) The manual simply says to charge it to 4 or 5 bars, clamp it to the car battery + (red) and -(black) terminals, and start the vehicle, waiting at least 30 seconds between attempts but no more than three tries. The charging cable has a secondary red LED display module that shows the measured car battery voltage and also has additional, unclear notes that seem to refer to its reverse polarization protection. However, following these instructions I successfully jump-started a Prius with a very dead battery. In less than a minute the charger quickly got the car battery up to 14V, the interior car accessories started working again, the charger lost two bars, and the car engine started. I removed the charger and drove the car around the block a few times and then left it running awhile to charge up the battery. The combined features of being a versatile air pump and a high-capacity jump starter makes this a very useful unit. Although its manual is too brief in the jump-start section, it is a solid design that works well and has excellent accessories and case. Highly recommended! Read more
This 4000A Car Jump Starter with Air Compressor is hands down one of the most useful and reassuring tools I’ve ever added to my vehicle. From the moment I unboxed it, I could tell this was built to handle real emergencies—not just look good on paper. It’s powerful, practical, and gives incredible peace of mind every time I’m on the road. The 4000A jump-starting power is no joke. I used it on a completely dead battery and it fired the car right up without hesitation. Knowing it can handle up to an 8L gas or 6L diesel engine makes it even more impressive. The boost function works exactly as advertised and makes starting quick and stress-free, even in colder conditions. The built-in 150 PSI air compressor is a total game changer. Being able to jump your car and inflate tires with one compact unit is incredibly convenient. I’ve used it to top off low tires before trips and during emergencies, and it works efficiently and accurately. No more hunting for gas stations or dragging out separate tools. I also love the LED light feature. It’s bright, easy to use, and extremely helpful for nighttime breakdowns or roadside checks. The different light modes add an extra layer of safety and practicality that you don’t realize you need until you have it. Everything about this jump starter feels well made and durable. The jumper cables are thick and sturdy, the unit holds a charge well, and it’s easy to recharge when needed. Despite all the power it packs, it’s still compact enough to store neatly in the trunk without taking up much space. Overall, this is a must-have car emergency tool. It combines power, convenience, and reliability into one device that truly delivers when you need it most. Whether for daily commuting, long road trips, or peace of mind for family members, this jump starter is worth every penny. A confident, enthusiastic 5-star recommendation! Read more
Unfortunately I had a dead battery a few weeks ago on my full size SUV. While I have one of these jump packs i keep in the SUV 24/7, it was not enough to start my car. So I went for the diesel jump pack we have and it started it immediately. Then I knew I needed a bigger pack for my SUV, enter this pack. I have not needed it yet but given the others I've used in the past, I know this one will work. I love when they have the air compressor built in and always look for those packs. I can't tell you how many times I've used them on car, truck, trailer, motorcycle, dirtbike, and 4 wheeler tires. They are much easier than lugging out the pancake compressor. This jump pack is a little nicer than the other small one I have, it comes packaged in a nice case, has a carrying handle, and looks more heavy duty. And the price is comparable to the other diesel jump pack I have. I have started recommending these to everyone, especially the females in my family so they're not stranded alone somewhere. And it's so easy to use, even if you know nothing about jump starting a car the old way, all you need to know is red clamp on red post of battery and black on black, you're all set! And these things hold a charge for a long time so they're charged and ready when you need them. Highly recommend! Read more
