4000A Jump Starter 150 PSI Air Compressor Tire Inflator Cordless Air Pump 12V Portable Car Battery Booster LED

I have one of this type of jump starter in every vehicle I own (5), all different brands. This is probably my favorite, which is why it's in the car I use most often. Power: This is the first test for me. I have a 1995 Ford Explorer that puts a pretty decent load on these. I don't drive it often, so it tends to sit for months at a time and there is some parasitic drain that leaves the battery stone dead every time I go to use it. This little unit had plenty of power to turn it over and fire it up. It passes the power test for me when I can start the old Explorer. Quality: I have some others that feel pretty flimsy. I'd put this one in the top two of those I own in terms of build quality. It certainly doesn't feel as flimsy as some others I've had. It does have a flashlight, which is a nice feature not all of mine have, and it is the brightest of those that do. I especially like the air pump feature, which none of my others have. It isn't as speedy as my dedicated compressor on my Jeep, but it will air up a tire that's running low in a reasonable amount of time. Ease of Use/Other Features: Like most of these, this is pretty easy to use, and it does come with basic instructions that are pretty intilligible. It also acts as a battery bank for charging your electronic devices, a feature not all of my jump starters have (and especially handy when I'm in a car that doesn't have USB connectors for power and one of my family members napped my 12v adapter!). Other: I like the size (not too big), and it functions just like the others I have. The instructions are clear enough my son could figure it out and he's not particularly mechanically-inclined (he's my litmus test on ease-of-use for these). I think having these in your vehicle is a real life-saver. I was on a trip through California and left my trailer hooked up and it's refrigerator drew down the trailer battery and my vehicle battery and one of these saved me a whole lot of walking. I think everyone should have one in their vehicle, and this one is a pretty good value. Overall Opinion: Of the 5 I own currently, this is my favorite, and compared to my favorite of all time (which is now with my daughter) it's pretty close and a fraction of the size. The media could not be loaded. This is a great product and an easy 5 star item. It is nice looking, and seems to be well built with a nice bright display. It also comes with a nice hardcover carrying case that fits the main unit and all of the accessories. 150 PSI Air Pump: I have a slow leak in one of my tires that isn’t repairable so I’ve been filling it about once a week until I get around to getting new tires. I assumed this pump would be much slower than a gas station air compressor but it filled my tire from 26 psi to 34 psi in just over a minute as seen in the video. The hose clamps securely onto the tire valve stem for hands-free operation and it also comes with a few different attachments for inflating tubes and a needle for basketballs, soccer balls, and footballs. Jump Starter: I have not used the battery jump function on it but one jump start and this thing will pay for itself. The cables and battery terminal clamps seem to be well constructed with an inline fuse for overload protection. They do connect to the jump box with an EC5 connector which is only rated for 170 amps max for a short period but I assume the designers matched it to the battery output. 800 Lumen Flash Light: it’s not the brightest flash light but it will be more than bright enough to find something in the dark or change a tire on the side of the road. I left it on for about an hour and it did not change the battery charge level at all so I think it’s safe to say you could get hours of light out of a charge. It cycles through a couple different patterns with one being Morse code for SOS and the other is a strobe function to get the attention of oncoming vehicles. Device charging bank: this might be the most useful function for me. The main power bank charges via USB-C but the only output options are USB 1 and USB 2. I was a little concerned that I would have a hard time charging my iPhone with it but the provided USB 2 to USB-C cable charged my iPhone 15 Pro no problem. It also charged my MacBook Pro using the USB 1 output but there is no amp rating on that output so I don’t know how long it would take to fully charge. In an emergency it will be enough to at least turn on and run a dead laptop. I did receive it for free but I’m mad at myself for not buying one years ago thinking about the aggravation, time, and money it could’ve saved me. The moment of truth will be on a 0° morning whether or not it will have enough juice to jumpstart a dead battery but if the 4000 amp rating is accurate, there should be no issues. Read more
