We just installed this ceiling fan, and it looks fantastic as you can see from the photo included. The low-profile flush mount design is perfect for bedrooms with lower ceilings, and the black finish gives the room a clean, modern look. The fan is ultra-quiet, even at higher speeds, and the DC motor feels smooth and powerful. I love having 6 fan speeds and the option to switch between 3 color temperatures for the light—it’s easy to set the mood for day or night. The dimming feature is a big plus too. The remote is simple to use, installation was straightforward, and overall the fan feels very well made. Great airflow, great lighting, and great style. Very happy with this purchase! Read more

This ceiling fan light exceeded my expectations! For $99.99, the quality is excellent. The design is sleek and modern, and the blades look very stylish. The fan runs smoothly and quietly, even at higher speeds. The light is adjustable and perfect for daily use. I love that I can control everything with the remote or my phone app. Easy to install and great value for money. I would definitely buy it again. Read more

Easy to install. It probably takes two hours for me to DIY the installation. Just follow the installation instructions and you will be fine. The fan blades are reversible withtwo different textures. Noise level very acceptable and bright enough for the room. We love thia product overall. Various great functions for the price. Read more

Took down and ugly and heavy fan from the early 2000's to put this much lighter and simpler lookong fan. Love having the remote and ability to change the color temp of the leds. The plastic light diffuser on mine was broken and falls out easily, but the seller replied quickly and is sending me a replacement. Instructions aren't the best, but it's pretty easy to figure out. Easy to install, I completed the replacement myself. The size is smaller for an outdoor ceiling. But the light is bright enough. The fan is powerful and speeds up fast. The remote control works 20 feet away. Read more

The Homlit fan arrives packaged in sufficient foam to ensure it remains undamaged during shipping. The included instructions are clearly written with illustrations and there are not very many installation steps (I felt no need to watch the install video). There are several wire harness connections coming off the power supply for the fan, main light and RGB light. However, all of those connections use fittings that only align with one slot, so there is no room for error. Including removal of the old fan, the installation took under an hour. The fan was already linked to the included remote and responded reliably to the function buttons. The remote includes a one digit display to provide basic feedback on the fan speed setting. Light output from the main LED array was less bright relative to the three bulb holder used by the old fan that was replaced. However it was nice to have three color temperatures choices and the electric bill should be lower. The fan is very quiet at settings 1-3, its noise level is increasingly noticeable at the higher settings (4-6). It was installed in a room that is 10 x 12 feet in area. For a room that size it provides adequate light and airflow, but I would not want to install it in a larger room. The RGB lights are not particularly bright, but they do fill the ceiling with color when the main light is off. Not partying too much these days, but I can see the appeal as an added feature. For those like myself that purchased the fan for its other features, rest assured it delivers as a standard light/fan. That said, the fan is priced higher than many other fans of this size, so if the RGB light will not be used, a different fan may be a better bargain. I did encounter one issue with the controls. When the fan is turned off by any method (by pressing the "fan off", "power off" buttons or by flipping a power switch), the memory remembers its last setting. However, to turn the fan back on you must press the fan button. Doing so increases the fan speed by one increment. So the fan is at a different speed every time it is turned on. It is possible to press the fan button six times when it is turned on to go back to the original speed, but that shouldn't be necessary. Also, if using a light switch for powering on/off, the light setting will be remembered, but the fan will not turn back on (until you hit the fan button and it bumps to the next level). Read more

I've been slowly replacing the fans in my house. And I bought some other products before that were just difficult to install. Not only was this one, easy to install, but they included ample documentation to be able to follow with clear visuals. Read more
