It gets warm slowly and I love that. When I came home my room was warm and comfortable. Not to hot so I can sleep well every night. The remote could be much better. It’s way too light. It needs buttons one can feel move. I don’t like it at all. I don’t think much thought went into the remote. You all must do something about the remote and please help us by making a real remote this one even feels temporary. The heater is warm but it doesn’t change with the change of the weather. My bedroom is small and the heater doesn’t keep it warm when the weather changes. I had it running 3 days in a row and I expected my room to get warmer and warmer but it didn’t so I returned it. Thanks for reading I was on with a few reps at 7:30 pm to 9:00 pm. One of your reps and I don’t know why the particular reps has a job with Amazon. He or she had me waiting so long I didn’t think he was even doing anything but sitting at the desk doing nothing. I want someone to check out the conversation I had with them. All I wanted to know is why my refund went to the gift card. I may have used the gift card once long time ago. This same rep closed the chat all of a sudden. I went to write something and he closed the chat. One chat, the rep but this one went so fast it was over in seconds. Why are they so rude . The rep had me waiting a very long time while he/she just do nothing. That rep made me feel like they were not helping me at all. I felt like he or she was just sitting there waiting until I end the chat. I was waiting close to an hour. I’m sure it’s never too that long to hold on while someone helps me on Amazon chat. I’m so angry because I’m sure he stop the chat without ending the chat. I’m having a hard time dealing with this because I was being as nice as I could because I wasn’t told valuable information as I should have. I shop Amazon which is the only way I shop. I’m still confused as to why he or she had me waiting at least an hour only to get rid of me by not finishing the chat. He was the second rep to stop the chat without finishing the chat. The online ads for this little heater have been all over the place; there's no heat in my 1948 Florida cottage, so how could I NOT check it out? Solid craftsmanship, thermostat works fine, puts out some heat, the little remote works fine IF you're standing two feet directly in front of it- kind of defeats the purpose of it, don'cha think? The fan is SUPER quiet, and much appreciated for that. That being said, it is a tiny little heater, and you have to GIVE IT SOME TIME to warm a room. My bedroom is more or less 10' x 10', so I turn it on and turn it up 3 hrs. ahead of bedtime and it works just fine. Easily done. Try it out. Read more

Warms up a small space like a bathroom very well. It is very tiny and very quiet, I use it in a tiny 5 x 8 bathroom and if I leave it on for a few minutes before I go in to take a shower, the room is very comfortable. Read more

First off, I was doing a search on Top Heat heaters, and could have sworn that this was labeled as such (rather ostensibly so; I believe the words "Top Heat" were placed at the top of the initial page I bought from). Now, I'll admit, I bought this impetuously, and therefore didn't properly read all of the advert to see what this was and who it was coming from. I figured if it worked well enough, I wouldn't care either way. But the initial feeling of Bait & Switch is a moot point from my overall assessment of this terrible heater. To begin, it's from the brand/company/outfit GiveBest (R). Wherever they're from, it's probably not The States, because you'll have to turn it upside-down for insertion to the properly installed outlet. Second, it DOESN'T GET HOT. I thought, at first, because I didn't want to over-do it, I only set it at a comfortable 77° F, and after FORGETTING ABOUT IT FOR HOURS, the room had NO NOTICABLE DIFFERENCE. This is a roughly 10 foot by 12 foot room [120 ft sq], in a basement, and the outlet close to the doorway, but facing into the room. Though the heat didn't really go into the room, IN PART, because there was never enough heat to facilitate any "warming." It was quite surprising to find the EXACT SAME THING set all the way up to 90°F! ALL. DAY. LONG. Well over 20 hours! I'll say this: there is absolutely no potential for fire with this thing!!! Then... I brought it into an even smaller bathroom in the basement, and the outlet there is up higher, so it was now I could actually get a sense of the AIR as it came out, and what I found was that it's barely warm, and it goes virtually STRAIGHT UP the moment it's away from the grates. I felt it a couple of times on my ear when I briefly looked at myself closely in the mirror, and I felt like I got the hottest blast of what this thing is capable of, and it's NOTHING that could EVER HEAT A ROOM. Plus, the fan isn't very strong. It's SUPER QUIET cause of this, but doesn't make it effective at all. Ha! There's a Handy Heater commercial on! At any rate, to sum up: AVOID THIS "HEATER". I bought this with the intent of running it on smaller Bluetti power banks, for short durations. And it works on both my EB3A (600W peak) and EB70S (800W peak) power banks. It spikes to about 550W on startup but then stabilizes to a bit under 350W once at temp. If running 100% of the time the EB3A gets about 40 minutes of runtime and the EB70S gets a hair under 2 hours, and it has been perfect for my needs.
