My Ipad would not charge, and someone suggested a higher watt charger and a magic keyboard. It would not charge with a regular charging block and the magic keyboard, so I ordered this one. Well whatta ya know, bam, charges that sucker right up. Now if I ever get a steam deck, I can use it for that too. Very pleased with the output power on this. It works great and is good quality. There's not much to say about this charger. It just works. Now, at 45 watts, it's not going to be a replacement for the charger that comes with the switch 2 that powers the docking station. This is a good second charger to have in another room, or perhaps in a bag if you are going to be doing some travel gaming. The charger works fine. It's taller than the original Nintendo charger, but skinnier, so it may fit in your Switch 2 case if it's one of the cases that can accommodate accessories. Read more
I'm using this with a 3rd party Switch dock and it works flawlessly. This one is set apart because the cable is actually good quality and it's quite long. The brick itself is heavy duty. I'm always looking out for good, solid PD 3.0 chargers. I have a variety of devices, including Samsung Phones, Samsung Tablets, iPhones, laptops and a Switch that can all use a PD standard. This 45W charger is very nice. It has solid construction and a nice long cord for such a compact charger. I do wish that the prongs folded for travel, making it more compact, but it's not a deal killer. The package included a 90-degree USB-C plug adapter, which is for not only strain relief but also for fitting into some devices. I tested it on all my devices and for the PD-based devices, I received the full 45W charge. I took a picture of the different power modes that the charger outputs and it's the base ones. I'm going to use this to power the fast charging on most of my portable devices but not my lower power laptops (which are not always PD compatible). I'll have to see how it does in the long term but right now, it's a very nice replacement/second adapter for a number of my devices. Read more
