As USB extension hubs go, this is a good one. I have experienced some others that do not work as well as this one does. I'm not fond of hubs that have both type A and type C connectors on one end. This one has seven type A ports and it has a type C charging input on the side. When connected this allows for charging cell phones and more using one of the type A ports on the hub. I use this hub for my printer, my scanner, a keyboard and a mouse. In addition, I have an external drive, a camera and a card reader. I don't use the camera much anymore so I keep that port open but I can plug the camera in as needed. This is a very versatile USB hub; glad I bought it. Read more

This hub is compact and holds a unifying receiver for keyboard and mouse, USB microphone, as well as USB's for joystick and soundbar plus space for my Tobii eyetracker which is plugged in only when in use.
