These 4FT Linkable LED Tube Lights (4 Pack) from YULINKCO are a great kit with so many installation options. First off, these lights are very bright and provide a good amount of 6500K light. Unfortunately, these LEDs cannot be dimmed. They are simple to mount, requiring only two spring clips per tube light, with a single screw holding each one. The clips can be located anywhere along the length, so the distance between the clips is not critical. The light can slide in either direction in the clips to allow you to locate the light aesthetically. The tube is very lightweight, so the clips hold them in place easily. Because of their light weight, these lights are so easy to install yourself, without any help. Connecting these lights to electricity, is also simple. Each tube has a three-prong recessed socket on each end. These sockets are all the same and connect to either a power plug with an in-line ON/OFF switch, a power plug with bare end wires to hardwire connect to your mains, a tube-to-tube connector cable, or a plug if you are not connecting to anything else. If you are using all four of the lights, they can all be daisy-chained together with only one end cable connecting to a power source. In my opinion, the tube-to-tube connector cables are too short at just under 24-inches, so you cannot mount them very far apart without splicing the wire to make them longer. When using a tube with the ON/OFF switch, it makes a great portable light source that is easy to move around. This is one of the most complete LED light kits that I have ever used. You are provided with enough wiring options to use them all separately, link some of them, or link them all. Linkable shop light that brings daylight indoors. This is a very welcomed product that enhances any space, garage, utility room, needing illumination. These LED lights are unexpectedly light and each light includes two clips per four foot light. The light beam provides a 270 degree wide projection (broad and uniformed coverage); through the v-shaped design. Couple/daisy chain four shop lights and you are spaciously drenched in daylight. Using these lights produced illumination greater than expected, lighting up and providing more coverage then I really needed for my workbench. The lights outputs 4400 lumens; comparison to my motion activated STKR Trilight (4000 lumens) was equal. The STKR Trilight is bright white versus cool white light. I prefer bright versus cool light. The T8 higher cool light lumens balanced the intensity output of the lower Trilight bright lumens. Installation took time as a result of placement independent to the manufacturer simple setup process. The lights plug and play eases install. These T8 LEDs are made with quality aluminum and thermoplastic material; very lightweight with endorsed 50,000 life hours. I evaluate and project these T8 as long lasting but suspect drops would decimate these immediately; as long as these are secured, these T8 will provide years of quality use. Read more
These lights are bright, lightweight, and easy to install. The plug‑and‑play setup makes the whole process quick, and the daylight‑style brightness works great for garages or workspaces. They link together cleanly, and the on/off switch is convenient. The only issue is that a couple of the frames arrived slightly bent in spots. They still worked once mounted, but the bending was noticeable when unboxing.
