These were just as described. Unfortunately, I lack the skill to install them myself and wrecked one of my son's PS5 controllers 🙁 The good news is I have a friend who works in the electronics industry. He was able to install them in the spare controller, and they ended up working out perfectly. There is no more stick drift, and the response time seems to be better than the factory controller. Have two dualsense controllers with jitter on the right sticks. I had heard hall effects would correct the problem but didnt want to waste the high cost at the moment. And after having the same issue with ps4 controllers years back, I knew the level of work it would take to change these. I bought the tiny film with potentiometers first to try out. Those where a lot cheaper and it was a lot easier to just put a little solder on top of the original stick contacts. Tried those on my dead ps4 controllers and as I thought, it didnt do much. With those tiny film potentiometers you adjust on one end but the other side of the travel gets messed up. Those where more luck than a guaranteed solution. After a year finally saw this hall effect ones on a reasonable price and decided to buy them. Be advised this is a complicated replacement to do. The toughest part is removing the original ones from the controller. Controller can be opened with a quick internet video. But desoldering the old one takes A LOT of patience. If your up for the challenge it'll fix your dead ps5 controller for sure. Just take your time a dont rush. Once you get the original one off its easy putting the new one in and just taping the solder points. To calibrate them after, just go on the internet and look for a video. Its easy and again, PATIENCE is the key on removing the old one AND calibrating the new one. From a 50 dead zone setting on apex were down to a 0. Oh and I only replaced the bad one. The other joystick on the controller was fine. If it also goes bad along the way I'll just do the same. Read more

Great sticks. This repair is fairly advanced. If you have the equipment and skill to remove the original sticks, these go on easy peasy. The trick is getting the original sticks off without damaging anything. You MUST run the config app on them or they will seem borked at first try. Read more

This would be five stars but some (about five) pins were bent. I was expecting these to work but not without issues, however these gave me no issues (yet). I did a circularity test before, after and at the end of the installation so that I could see and keep track of the results. Circularity is better than oem and we're easy to calibrated. Played for three hours and had no issues. They dont come centered so calibration is mondatory. Read more

Product installed fine and has good signal / range of motion. However, the return to center spring force is weaker than factory sticks. I normally use the Elecgear kit, but since I didn't need the desolder plate or wick I figured I'd try a different brand and see if I can get just a good set of sticks for less. While this set is serviceable it doesn't have that crisp return to center feeling, I will keep looking for a good "value" set of sticks. Read more

I'm familiar with soldering and was able to install these with no problems. One set on a BDM-020 controller, and the other set on a BDM-030. Working flawlessly after calibrating the controllers online! Read more

Installed both had a hard time adjusting. Was very twitchy. Then I put it all together. When I was in game I held the O down to pull up a menu It would not go to the right side of the menu. It also had drifted after I adjusted. Read more
