I'd never used minoxidil before but I have tried biotin. The addition of minoxidil is so much more effective. This kit comes with a 6 month supply. The set includes 6 little spray bottles, one of each month. I think that it's important to have such a large supply because it seems to take a very long time to see any result. That makes sense of course, since hair grows slowly. All you do is spray about 3 pumps on the area you are treating, and be sure your hair is dry. Then massage it in for a few minutes and be sure to avoid putting water or products on your hair afterwards. You do this twice a day every day. After about 3 and a half months I think my hair is looking fuller and thicker. The downfall is it says you have to keep using the product to maintain the results. This is a six month supply of 5% minoxidil. This minoxidil has biotin in it. This is used hair growth treatment and is a topical hair growth serum. This comes with six bottles. Each bottle has 60 mls in it. This is very easy to use. You simply spray this in the areas that you feel like you have hair loss. This is a long term solution and will take some time for this to work. I have been using minoxidil for quite some time now and although I can't make any claims here I can say that it seems effective. The bonus in is the biotin. The sprays on this spray very well, it has a wide spray and mists very nicely covering a good area with each spray. I have found this very easy to use with this method versus the dripper bottle. The problem with the dripper bottle is that I end up with liquid running down the side of my face and with this spray pump style cap it makes it easy to cover without all the mess. The value on this is pretty good. This is not that expensive for how much you get. This is a great amount to give this a trial without too much investment giving this good value in my opinion and at the time of this review. I've been using this Minoxidil Spray for a couple of weeks now, but it's a little too early to gauge its effectiveness. I decided to share my experience with it so far and the research I did before starting to use it, in case it would be helpful to others. First, this product comes in six spray bottles of 5% minoxidil, which I discovered is generally accepted to be the most effective strength, with the least side effects for most adults. Anything stronger probably won't be more helpful, and there is a greater chance of side effects, so you won't want to use anything stronger without your doctor's agreement. I also discussed my hair loss with my stylist, who has years of experience caring for men's and women's hair. He highly recommended minoxidil and explained that it often appears to cause a little hair loss in the beginning because you already have hair that is ready to fall - some just falls more quickly when you first use the minoxidil. After that, the product stimulates more hair growth, and that hair may be stronger than before. At least that has been his experience with his clients, and I found it to be similar to the information in the package insert. I'm sorry that I can't provide more personal experience yet. The spray bottles are simple to use, and don't drip. All you have to do is spray where you are losing hair and then massage it in. Takes only a few minutes, twice a day. This is literally the easiest thing to do twice a day, it comes in small spray bottles so there isn’t a giant bottle taking up space. I love that because I need to see it to remember to use it - and the small size helps! So so far I have not seen any hair re-growth...although I likely have more hair loss than it is intended for, so I wasn't expecting miracles here. I am also only one month in and I believe it said it may take up to 3-6 months for some people. What I can say though, is that it is definitely easier to take than the other Minoxidil product I took from a name brand company. Which was in a dropper form, and I found that a bit difficult and unpleasant to use. So with this....you can simply spray it....to more easily reach more target area. Wheras with a tiny dropper....it was time consuming and the stuff would leak at each little spot, take longer, and also felt a bit strange on my scalp. With this in spray form....it's just much easier, I have no leaks, and it's tolerable to deal with for 5 minutes, 2x times a day. (it only feels slightly strange on my scalp when applying, which goes away after a few minutes to the point that I forget I had used anything.) I am not sure if this will help me keep the hair that I still have, and so far it is likely too early to see any regrowth...but I think this likely works as it ofc contains the active ingredient, and it does seem to be a good quality product. Due to the price and convenience of use...I would recommend it for those with hair thinning and less than moderate hair loss. Read more
