First, be aware that this is a fairly shiny hat that is not as muted as the product listing depicts. I have added a comparison photo with a sypucal cotton hat to show how shiny. I was hoping for something a little less obtrusive. The mesh is also not as permiable as it looks. Is still can breathe, but it definitely holds heat in more than an open-holed mesh. The backing for the front panel is rigid and coarse. If you are bald or balding, you might find this to be pretty uncomfortable. I personally like the look and feel of softer front panels and I may attempt to remove the backing to see if it helps at all. I am trying to rate this hat fairly, since it is not really my style. With that in mind, I am giving it 3 stars instead of the 3 I would have based on my tastes. Read more
