I bought these to put inside Flight Crew Appreciation bags when I fly. Upon receipt of the item, 15 of the 50 kits were not sealed properly. For hygienic reasons, I will not be giving those away. Did not use the product myself to test for quality. Read more
I wanted to try this product because I felt as though I got too used to the Gillette standard. I was starting to shave my beard but I stopped immediately. I didn't feel comfortable at all using this. I tried it on different parts on my body. That worked a little better but I won't be using these to shave my beard or mustache. It's too rigid. The shaving cream was a little on the oily side, but decent I guess. Even with nice hot water opening up my pores and such, the shaving cream didn't really help the shave on the beard. It was still too rough. This would probably suit an office better than a household. I need comfort when shaving because my beard and neck are both sensitive and I can easily bleed if I am not careful when shaving. There are better options out there. If it's a last resort, then get it. Otherwise, you can do better. Read more
This combination product works quite well for our kindness bags for the homeless population. Read more
These are clearly not the fanciest razors or shave cream. They’re pretty basic. They’re the kind of razor I might expect to see sold in a pack of 20. If you’re looking for some ergonomic Mach-whatever razor with a lotion bar and a guard to prevent nicks, you’ll be disappointed. However, they’re perfect for what they are. They’re exactly as described and shown in the listing. They cut well enough and don’t leave a rash. The shaving cream is nice for preventing razor burn. Each kit is in a sealed plastic bag in a small cardboard box. For about $0.50 a kit, this is a nice pre-packaged hassle-free kit you could hand out to people. I’m planning to keep one or two around the house in case a guest needs one in a pinch, but I’ll plan to donate the rest to my local shelter. Im sure they’ll be happy to have them. Read more
If you run a small business like a hotel or a not for profit entity like a homeless shelter, this would be a pretty perfect choice to have on hand and hand out to someone who needs one. Shaving kits seem of decent quality with everything you need to get a good shave except water. Read more
These are cheap razors that are meant to be tossed after one use. They are good for that, no more and no less. I feel they would be good as a donation to a homeless shelter and other people who may be having a rough time affording essentials. The shaving cream seems just fine to me, not too watery and not too thick and helps the razor glide on the skin. It may seem wasteful to just use them one time but that really is all they are meant for and will not last longer than that. You may be able to squeeze two shaves out of them but I believe that would be pushing it. I also find them useful for travel. Just throw a couple in your luggage and that way if you somehow manage to forget your razor then at least you have a backup. Read more
