Never tried this product before. I did now and it works better than I anticipated. I get everything promised - closer shave, less irritation, etc. You only need a small amount. It also seems to soften my whiskers up enough that it takes less time to shave. And this is not my imagination. My rechargeable shaver has a digital power meter. I've owned, and used it daily, for more than a year. BEFORE I started using Lectric Shave, the power meter showed 60% when I finished (down from 100% - I always charge it overnight). AFTER using Lectric shave, the power meter shows 80%. Read more

I've previously used the gel, and it works well to lubricate my face for my electric razor. It was easier to apply. I bought the liquid because of the reviews, but it's very difficult to spread the liquid around my face, and I'm not sure it works as well. It also feels like heavy-weight motor oil -- I have to wash my hands with soap to get it off. When I run out, I'll get the gel. Read more
I shave my head pretty much daily with an electric razor. In certain months of the year, the skin in the back of my head/neck gets especially sensitive and I will sometimes break out in a bad rash/burn after shaving. Started using this each time and my problems went away. Seems to help the razor glide much more easily over the skin, and I'm also able to shave with fewer passes over the same area thus decreasing my chances of irritation. Read more

This stuff has been around for a long time and there's a reason why ... it's the best. I used it daily before using my electric razor. It makes my face feel so good and really helps reduce the irritation. It makes the hairs stand on end! Magical stuff. Read more
Been using this for years! Best pre-shave on the market. They used to have another one for tender skin (Tenderface), but for reasons known only to Williams, they discomtinued that item. Read more
