I ordered this to replace another remote-controlled ceiling fan in my master bedroom. Due to the awkward placement of the fan in the room, I needed a fan with longer blades so I could feel the ceiling fan at night while lying in the bed. I previously had a fan with 48" and it didn't do the trick. This 52" fan was just the extra length that I needed. Even on low, it produces enough wind to feel it across the room. I'm so happy now! The light is bright enough to fill my room and I love the dimming feature. It's nice being able to turn it down at night when I'm relaxing so I can wind down without being in the dark or without being in a bright room. Overall, I'm pleased with this fan. WOW!! What an amazing value and excellent quality fan! This is 52", dual sided, comes with 2 sets of downrods in case of vaulted ceilings, 4.9" and 9.8", the light is dimmable, and there are 6 speeds for the fan. Installation was a "breeze" with the included directions, and it did not take long at all. I will be ordering a 2nd one because we need a matching set for the vaulted ceilings, and I wanted to see how well this one works. It works amazingly well! The wind power is strong, sending down the cool air, and during the winter, it should work just as well going the other way, bringing up the warm air. I absolutely love the dimming feature, being able to have the light from nightlight to brightest level and all that fall in between. Besides the dimming, there are 3 light options, too: cool, white, and warm. This fan appears and feels to be quality made. The remote control will make life a lot easier with having it up so high, and the noise level is very limited. Overall, this is the ideal fan, and I highly recommend it.
