This tamper is awesome and I wish I had gotten it sooner. It makes dialing in your shot easier because it guarantees a consistent tamp each time. Correct diameter for the Delonghi Dedica basket. I enjoy the feeling of the spring activated tamp and like the ridged pattern it leaves on the coffee bed. It adds to my overall enjoyment of my coffee routine in the morning. The weight of the product feels substantial and high quality, and the paint finish feels nice on the handle. Before you get this, I would recommend you upgrade to a non-pressurized portafilter though as I think that has a bigger impact and is a "pre-requisite" for this product working well. Search for "delonghi dedica 51mm non-pressurized portafilter" and you should find the right product. Read more

works perfectly ONCE IT'S ASSEMBLED PROPERLY! initial test on scale showed only 19 PSI when the spring bottomed out and no click ... but then i realized all of the parts were somewhat loose, and after screwing everything together tightly, scale-testing showed it would click at 30 PSI ... Read more
