You know these came in a box which kind of threw me back. Yet when I opened it up they were indeed 5x7 and they had a little sponge to it. They're soft and the quality is nice. I go by pile for quality in their pile. It may be short but it is dense. I happen to like lighter colors so the color was outstanding. For me. I doubled it up because I was looking to add heat, literal heat to my room. So I doubled it. I don't slip on it. It doesn't wrinkle up. It is a good comfy rug.
